Angels on Expedition || Chaerin&Taeyeon
Two angels, snooping around the barren and sandy lands of what was known as ‘Valley of the Kings’ by both the locals and historians all over the world. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to begin with, but both Chaerin and Taeyeon were starved for some fresh sights and a little outing to spend some time together. And who was to say they didn’t need that day of bonding time? The two friends had barely seen each other in the past month or so and this trip to Egypt had seemed like the perfect opportunity to catch up with one another while exploring the ancient world of a civilization that had long fallen to ruin. With just a simple phone call to the other and a few days of light planning what they would do in Egypt together, the result was this. The two girls standing just outside a seemingly crumbling pyramid with curiosity written all over their faces.
Chaerin had certainly never seen a pyramid before, not in person, and now that she was looking at one it was quite impressive. Even though stones were chipping badly in areas and sand was threatening to engulf an entire side of the structure, it was really magnificent. “Do you think this one’s it?” the guardian angel asked her companion, eyeing her map almost hesitantly. “This one should be the tomb of Nefertiti if we followed the directions right.” Directions that they’d acquired from their hotel concierge were most likely dependable, right? After all, the tomb of such a famous Queen would surely be well-known and easy to access right? The problem was, this had not been an easy place to find. This pyramid was a good distance separated from the many clusters and was not swarmed by tourists like the others. It felt… a little off. But they’d followed the directions precisely, so it had to be it, right?
The elder angel finally tore her eyes away from the map in her hands and looked over at her friend, waiting to hear her opinion. If Taeyeon agreed that this place had to be the one they were looking for, then they’d approach without any more hesitation. If the younger angel felt as off about it as Chaerin did, then maybe they’d just be a little more cautious about approaching. The last thing they would need is to cross into some forbidden historical landmark and get caught by security or something. It would be kind of ironic for angels of the lord to be arrested for trespassing. Although, the more she thought about it, the less likely that situation seemed. The area around the pyramid was… just plain deserted. There were no people, and no places to hide. It was clearly only them and the mysterious pyramid that they could only assume was the final resting place of Queen Nefertiti.
Old Sandy Shit ••• Amber&(Open)
Today was, like, the third day of the week-long trip that the academy had sprung up on its students, offering everyone the chance to get off their damn asses and see some new parts of the world. It seemed these trips were getting more and more popular, because holy shit, thanks to the academy, Amber had gotten drunk in three different countries. Now, she’d get the chance to add another country to that list. Hell, maybe she’d buy a world map and start checking off each country she got wasted in. By the time she graduated, she’d probably have half of the world checked off if the trips kept coming at such a constant rate. Not that she was complaining of course. Getting drunk in new places just meant more fun, new adventures, and new friends
At the moment though, it was probably still too early to bust out the booze and assume her usual drunkard position at the nearest local pub. 2pm. Yea, too early to get boozed up, so instead, the healer had taken her tomboy ass over to the nearest museum for a looksie. Hey, even though she was an alcoholic up the ass, didn’t mean she couldn’t enjoy an activity during the day that wasn’t totally unorthodox of a school trip. In fact, the healer was very interested in this old sandy shit. Egyptian history, the gods and goddesses, mummies, all that ancient crap was stuff Amber had always wanted to see in person, and now that she had the chance, she wasn’t about to shit on it with her addiction to poisonous liquids.
So, that’s how she found her way into the Cairo Museum. It was, from what she’d read, the biggest museum in Egypt and held most of the more important artifacts from within the giant death traps in the desert. It wasn’t a magical way to spend the trip, but hey, she didn’t give a crap. What she did care about was the golden crown of the Lower River on display beneath a heavy encasement of polished glass. Amber was pressed up as near as she could get to the glass, but made sure to not actually touch it. The fuzz would probably bust in if she so much as scratched the surface, thinking she was some crazy foreign freak trying to steal an old hat.

↗↗ Up, up and away! || Key & Soohyun
The snow elf was standing in the streets of a village in Egypt, he was wearing a wide set of royal blue pants and a white shirt on top of it, covering most of his light skin. A matching blue shawl was wrapped around his chin and mouth,protecting him from inhaling the sand. His staff was tied to his back, the diamond faintly flowing as he mumbled foreign words at a carpet that was sold to him to be magical, but it didn't go fast enough. High time to change that.
The elf was busy with inspecting the magic carpet on flaws when a fellow teacher came into his view. "Ah, Soohyun. Would you come here for a moment?" He asked, ignoring the fact that he and the other elf had barely conversed, or rather, conversed and written since the other seemed to be unable to speak. "Have you ever been on a magical carpet?" He asked, and chuckled as he lead the other onto the carpet and smiled mischievously. "I really think you should join me on this one, my dear fellow colleague."
