[ text : Styles ] this might come kind of soon but I thought I’d ask if you’re interested in going to the Ball they’re arranging for Halloween.
[ text : Styles ] Unless you’re already going with someone, of course. Haha. If you’re not, it’s always nicer to go with a friend than alone.
Avan had been keeping a low profile all of October and it felt almost strange to be taking a shower with a glass of wine in the means of getting ready for the Halloween Ball. He’d had to take a few sips before he sent the messages and after the first two it felt so awkward that he’d sent a third.. which he honestly regretted the second he pressed send. Avan had never been this embarrassing before and now he knew what it felt like to want to sink through the ground.
While waiting for a response to the worst texts he’d ever sent, he tried not to think of the possibility that Styles was already going with someone and he’d end up going alone and instead pulled out his costume while he dried himself off. Tonight he wouldn’t wear a suit, he’d wear loose, patched up clothes instead and a vest, topped with a big hat to match the pirate theme he was going for. Neat diamonds on his ears were changed to golden rings and his curls flowed loose under the hat, a small bit of black being added to his waterline just to make him look slightly rock n’ roll.
He’d have to pour himself another glass of wine before he left his venue.
