Back in 2012, in a little Brazilian island called Florianópolis, iaia was born as a project to capture performances, art and music. Since then, numerous artists have gone through our lenses, many projects passed by our desk, and the time has come for iaia to spread wings.
We are now Iaia Films.
Our cornerstone is the same, we are a production company as much as we are a laboratory, but rather than focusing solely on art projects, we are interested in stories, being them where they will. Now, with barely a year of action across the world with a HQ in Melbourne, iaia has taken part in short films, promos, events, sports and, of course, art.
We believe in the power of storytelling to change the world and our society for the best, for stories are around us, defining our existence and our understanding of each other. We want to question, experiment and propose new ways of telling them. We want to know about your stories and get the world to know them too.
