I almost lost you.

I almost lost a thing that you gave me. I almost lost that something that reminds me of you. I went to that place, to the place where I think I left it. I went twice, because the first time I went back there, it was closed, no one to ask it about and no way to find. I thought I’m going to lose you. But yes, for the second time around, I had the chance to ask if they have seen it, and gladly, they did. I found you, again. You know world was very tough for us, but I guess that’s the thing. It was something that makes us worth fighting for, that no matter how imperfect things happen on us, at the end of the day I manage not to lose you. I manage to make it to that “almost” point of losing, because baby, I didn’t. I always end up to almost losing you. I don’t know if it were just luck or something, like are we really meant breaking up when the world tries to dictate we should, or is it a trial to know how much can we fight for us. It was painful every time, because even if it was just an almost, it was scary. I was scared to argue with the world, the universe, fate, God and Goddesses and anything or anyone that I know were powerful than me. I’m scared to fight because part of me gets weak whenever I feel like losing you. I don’t know what to feel about almost losing you. To just be thankful that it saved or to be more afraid, because we were so brittle that “almost lost you” could turn to “lost you,” at any moment.
