Alright, so I’ve had this sitting around for weeks and I’ve been trying really hard to think of things which is kinda sad so I’m just gonna try it now.

1) People seem to think I’m funny. At least people who know me well enough for me to be comfortable showing my sense of humor because it can be too much for public situations sometimes. Or it occasionally just totally falls flat when I’m uncomfortable and makes me never want to open my mouth again. Honestly, if I wasn’t terrified of performing in front of people, I’d probably be much happier pursuing a career in sketch comedy than I am studying to be in a science-y profession.

2) I like that I don’t feel the need to wear lots of makeup despite the idea that girls NEED it to look decent being forced upon us by the media. I’m not bashing people that do wear more than I do, do whatever makes you feel good about yourself. All I personally use on a daily basis (assuming I’m actually going somewhere) is concealer and I wouldn’t even do that if I felt good about the state of my skin because any makeup feels kind of suffocating to me. I used to wear tinted moisturizer every day and I’ve cut it down to really bad skin days and special occasions only this past semester because I really hate the feeling of it on my face.

3) I’ve come to like my body type over the years which is an accomplishment considering I got bullied for looking boyish when I was about 13. I’m 5’10” and have very few curves but now I just realize that allows me to get away with wearing things a lot of people might feel uncomfortable in. (If you’re thinking that puberty changed my body type since I was being bullied, it’s true that I got wider in the hip area but I was specifically bullied for my flat chest and that has changed VERY little.)

4) I like that I get angry so rarely that people are scared of me when I am and choose to show it :D (just infp things)

5) I’m a lazy ass and terrified of everything, but if something really matters to me I’ll push through both of those to do it. (But laziness and anxiety win like 95% of the time)
