This is still surreal to me. Three years ago I became a citizen on this day. I remember watching the movie “Glory Road” as a teenager, and in the movie the basketball coach tells one of the players this, “If you quit today, you quit for the rest of your life.” Those words sipped their way into my heart and mind. I held on to that saying, and I still hear those words echoing in my heart and mind till this day. If you give up today, you may never know what things you were capable of.
