Being a student is hard. A student have many obligations that should be done on a specific day. Performance Tasks, Summative Tests or group activities was given by a teacher that make us pressure. Being a student was never easy, you need to do the things that should be done by yours or else you’ll fail. Maintaining your grades and to exceed in the class are one of the hardest tasks to do because there are times that we are so down and it causes us to fail and I know we hate it.
Sleepless nights are mostly common to us students. We spend our whole time in doing Performance Tasks, doing our greatest efforts to give an amazing outputs, and trying our very best to get high grades. Stress is always there, there are no times that we cannot feel it. Sometimes we feel so exhausted because of the many things that should be done in just a day. But even being a student is hard, it is the most memorable and fun obligations that we have. We experience different challenges in such a young age but it could really help us to succeed in the future. So nourish the time while you’re still a student because it could give you the most unforgettable moments.
"Take time to do what makes your soul happy" All of us specially teenagers has a free time. The time where we are spending it whatever we want. It is the time when we want to relax, meditate, and forget about stress. The time we feel free and go wherever we want to go.
For me, I spend my time in my house. Watching tv, playing with my sister, using my phone and other stuff I used to do. During free time some would spend there time going anywhere with their friends and families. I used to spend my free time in our house. Going along with my friends is not my thing. My parents are very strict and they won’t allow me to go anywhere without their presence. Sometimes i’m just having a makeover by myself. But usually I just use my gadgets until the day is over. All of us has a different way in making our free time worth it.
Spending free time relieves us and giving us time to chill. Not all the time is for work, school, studies, and others. We should have a time for ourselves and have fun. Like having a good time for us to release stress ang breathe in the happiness and relaxation.
I am a student at PHINMA-COC since the school year of 2015-2016. In short, I started going to this school as a freshman. During those years, I had a very hard time socializing with others since I was from a different school when I was in elementary. I always thought that it would be extremely hard to get to be close to everyone since I thought I was “different”. Turns out everything wasn’t the same as I expected it to be.
In a span of weeks (I’M NOT EXAGGERATING I SWEAR) I became close to almost everyone in my class!!! Do you know how crazy that is? The fun part is always the rivalry with the other sections which, today, I only laugh out loud at my stupidity and jejeness.
Fast forward to the present and here I am today, writing an article about my student life. I am now a grade 9 student and I can probably say that I am an achiever throughout my high school atm. I always doubted myself in terms of academics, but I was genuinely surprised about the results I saw and received. Though I an achiever (so I say lololol), I have an ordinary yet stressful life as a student; just like everyone else in the whole world probably.
During my freshman days, I had problems with my first few set of friends. Well, that’s about it. I am happy and content with the friends that I have today. They’re more than enough to be honest. Today, I have projects that are meeting the deadline, I lack sleep, (and I still do today) I am an addict to computer games such as League of Legends and I have several psychological problems that I am never taking seriously.
Let’s go back to that friendship issue because it has been a key point in my student life. My group of friends today has made my life more colorful than my old set of friends. I just thought that my old friends we’re too “toxic” and basically a nuisance to my life. So I let them go, and I found them now.
OF COURSE HOW CAN I FORGET FANGIRLING WITH MY SQUAD ABOUT KPOP OH MY. Actually, the fangirling thing has really made going to school fun. We dance to Kpop songs then join contests which is double the fun since we get to dance on stage! (yeah just a side note)
Throughout my student life, I always wanted to die and because of my school’s new administration, the feeling of wanting to die has skyrocketed even more. Because of this, the pressure as a grade 9 student was driving me insanely stressed and almost close to becoming a schizophrenia patient. It was the worst of the worst and I wasn’t even alone. Majority of my class doesn’t even like the current administration that we have today because of the strictness and lack of freedom to us students. They treat us as if we are robots who can do anything and everything in a span of days, weeks, and heck even in a few set of hours.
Anyways, excuse me for that rather small portion of rant right there. (we can’t do anything about it since we’re only students that need to swallow the stress, force the knowledge into our brains then forget everything right after all for the sake of passing)
My student life in a nutshell is a mixture of stress, so much fun, “the sake of passing” kinda mentality, being a lazy, procrastinating child, an addict gamer, A KPOP FAN, and a grade-conscious kinda guy. Yep. Despite this, high school is still the best.
Relaxing our mind has been a vital part of spending our free time for thousands of years. Most of the people find relaxing activities like reading a book while others love to stay in the park, just see a boring TV channel or discuss with friends in front of a cup of tea or coffee. Even if maybe some persons will not totally agree with me, I consider that two of the most important activities that should eat our free time are the reading of a book and outdoor activities with family or friends. Reading has always been one of the activities that fascinated the human mind and as long as we read books written in a language that we do not find difficult to understand, we should find reading a relaxing activity. Of course, as long as the books we are reading are not too technical to make us realize that we are not reading for fun but for study. For example I remember when my sister told me that by reading for relaxation she found God and that changed her life. She was reading mostly religious books. Another activity which I personally consider that can have an important effect in our life are outdoor activities with family members or friends. This activities will help us be in a good shape for a long period of time and in the same time will help us develop strong close relationships with the persons we are spending our time with. And strong and close relationships are vital to have with people we would like to have around us for longer periods of time. For example I remember that we when I was younger I was going a lot for fishing with my father and over the years this activity become very important for us and made us to have have a very special relation. @iameducator2014
Student Life refers to the part of life that a student spends studying in schools. Like all other phases of life, student life has its own peculiar joys and sorrows, its own responsibilities and worries. A student carries immense responsibilities on his shoulders. At first sight, he seems to have a free and easy time, because he is not called upon to earn. The students have to depend on their guardians. Students know how hard it is for the guardians to pay for their educational expenses, and no wonder many of them have to combine earning with learning. The life of a student has many joys and its most important feature is its hopefulness. Except for determined shirkers, all students have the excitement of learning new things day by day, year by year. Failures are depressing no doubt, but there are successes too, and every success marks a definite stage of progress. The pleasure of new learning and the confidence that it produces are enough compensation for all worries and troubles. This intellectual progress is no doubt the happiest feature of a student’s life. Student life is a period of preparation. Students may join politics, they may take part in sports and games or they may engage themselves in other extra academic activities but they must know that all these are not ends in themselves but part of a training that will fit them for the greater work of life. @iameducator2014
Education is the key to unlocking the world, a passport to freedom and the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world. Being a student is a tough, demanding job. Hours of studying for every hour in class. There is always a due date quickly approaching, a research requirement to be fulfilled, a big test coming up in your worst class and surprise quizzes. It’s the hardest job in the world. You have to understand, and learn, and learn how you learn, to get the best grade in the class that you can get. It is also hard because you have to wake up early and go to school and you have to manage your time properly. There are times that I say to myself, “uuugghhh! This is so exhausting!” “this is too much” “I’m tired already” but even after I say those things I always think of my parents. They’re working very hard for me and pay bills of my schooling. I reflect on it. That is why I'am still here, still going and never giving up because I need to pay my parents hardwork and in order to pay from them I need to finish college, get a degree and be professional.
Just hearing the word free time feels so good, right? Oh yes! For me, definitely. Who doesn’t love free time? Well, free time is when you explore your own interests or doing things that makes you happy. In my free time, I do a lot of things like, social media. Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, I’m always updated to that. You can follow your favorite hollywood celebrities and be updated with the new trends. I also love reading and collecting books especially if it is Lang Leav’s and Rupi Kaur’s. Reading books is like escaping from reality and making your own world using your own imagination of what you are reading. And ofcourse, watching kdramas. I love watching kdramas because the actors and actress are good in portraying their roles and also the “oppa’s” are very handsome. Sometimes, if I’m tired and don’t feel doing anything I listen to music. I can also define music as an escape because it calms our soul and takes us to another place away from problems and just fell asleep. I’ve read a quote from an anonymous person, he said, “Always find time for the things that make you feel happy to be alive.” That is why I make time for doing things that I love.
