I was one of the many women who doesn't like to cook. I often irritate my mom that I will have to get my own household-help when I get married or have kids because I was not used to cooking or doing household chores growing up. Nanay Ludy or Sarge cooks for us and pampered us in so many ways. Other people do it for me while i can volunteer to wash the dishes after the meal 🤣 But being faraway from home, living in Europe, made me changed these perpective of cooking. Now, I love cooking and experimenting. My happiness comes in hearing: "Omg, your escabeche is topnotch ate Criszy!" "OMG, i love your adobo!" "I love your bihon" "OMG, how did you make these squids? They are amazing!" As a woman, I still believe that I cook for myself, to explore, not because I have to feed my husband or an obligation to feed the village.
