The Lawn Cemetery Kangaroos
Spring in Queanbeyan, when the joeys poke their heads out of their pouchs, some more successfully than others
The lawn cemetery roos make the most of the only green grass left in Queanbeyan, but still struggle under the blanket of smoke
I left the security of a public service job 6 years ago to follow my passion of becoming a chef. Being a chef can be stressful, but it’s an enjoyable stress for me because I love cooking.
However, opening Bean Central this year in the middle of winter and during a pandemic was tough. Luckily we have a great community here who have supported us throughout it all. I never regretted taking on Bean Central because it is about building a community and a place that we can all be proud of. I want everyone who walks through this door to feel welcomed and have a positive experience, the customers and my employees.
