. . . He's going to eat to avoid his problems.
Ayasegawa Yumichika was a person that was used to being the center of attention (or at least striving for it), so it stood to reason that he'd know when there were eyes on him. What came as a surprise was that he hadn't been expecting it- not out here, in the human world. He knew there were humans capable of seeing spirits, but they were far and few in between, and he hadn't thought about the possibility of running into one so far away from civilization.
But, alas, he had. So Yumichika stood, feet planted on nothing but reishi and air, and allowed a smirk to touch the corners of his lips.
'Intriguing.'
He could sense no reiatsu coming from the young man, but there was something there; something giving him power, something behind those eyes-
The shinigami contained a shiver, fingers twitching against the tsuka of his katana as it sang for the challenge. Had Ikkaku been here, Yumichika had no doubt that it would have already been answered.
But no, he was no brute. So Yumichika remained where he was, one hand resting against his sword and the other held loosely by his side, lips curled into a smug smile and violet eyes inquisitive. It was pleasing to know that, if he were to be seen by a human, it was one who at least had pleasing facial features.
"My my, it seems that i've been spotted~"
