Beauty Tag- This or That

This is the first time I received this kind of tag and so far this tag is one of my favorite! Thank you Rav for tagging me this. You know I love makeup! :* I would have to go both. Recently, I've been using my sister's gift last Christmas which is an E.L.F Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder. I really love the bronzer on this duo. I know that a bronzer is a 'lil bit of different from a contouring powder. Bronzer adds warmth to your face while as for contouring powders, well, contours and it has a matte finish. I use this bronzing powder to contour my face and the blush to add color. I love lipsticks! I have a good number of them sitting on my improvised dresser. I rarely use lipgloss but I also have a lot of them hanging around. You know, for that time when I need an extra pouty, kissable lips. :> I love my Revlon Lip Butters but I really preffer lipbalms over them. I'm recently liking Chaptick's limited edition balm and EOS Honeysucke Honeydew. (Review here). I also think lip balms are less sticky than lip butters. I'm not sure though. I am a contour freak but surprisingly, I don't have matte eyeshadows to start with. I am loving my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette that was a gift from my mom last Christmas. It has shimmery eyeshadows and some matte ones. Because of this palette, I love shimmery eyeshadows now! I believe that Foundations and concealers are somewhat different. Concealers are more opaque than foundations where you can build the layers. Before I am a concealer girl. Having too many acne marks, and spots here and there, definitely called for concealers. Currently I'm loving Revlon PhotoReady foundation. Funny thing was, I hated it on the first trial. I gave it a rest and one night I wore it during our class' reunion. I was surprised that it didn't made my skin oily! It is very buildable and you might not need to use concealers. EYELINERS. Even if I am fond of using Sansan cream/gel eyeliner, I still like liquid eyeliners better. Depending on the formulation and applicatior, it can give the most precise line that you want. I am currently using Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner since my favorite Tony Moly Prestige Eyeliner has been long gone. I have a thing for both. I like pressed powders but sometimes they give a thick and cakey look. As for loose powders, they give a sheer veil over your face (or over your foundation) but the usual container of loose powders are such a pain inside the bag, especially if you forgot to close the lid tightly. I use The Body Shop Loose Face Powder in 01 and I love how it provides a sheer coverage over my already thick foundation. lol on that I would have to go with brushes and fingers. I use brushes primarily on applying eyeshadows, blush and bronzers. Just a little late 2012, I love using my Landmark Flat Top Brush to apply my foundation. I've been using it everyday, non stop because I really really love it! Due to the fear of the bristles coming off it's body (Went back to Landmark & it was already out of stock), this January, I decided to just use my clean fingers to apply my foundation. Waterproof. I have a very oily skin and lids. I prefer waterproof especially in mascaras. The only cons of water proof make-up, mascaras specifically, they are so hard to remove even with a make-up remover. Here are my favorite mascaras as of the moment- Maybelline Extreme Stilleto, Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On and Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express all are water proof mascaras. Foundation, eyeliner and lipsticks! I called them my "daily features enhancers". :) Now that's what I call a fun tag. 1.) What can you say about me?

- Hi Ate Bff! Well to start off you're one of the most approachable and friendly bloggers I've ever ever met. I didn't actually think that we'd be friends :') You're very beautiful, inside and out. And let me just say that your sense of fashion rocks. I love love your hair and most of all your lipstick shades :> Pahingi ako Ate Bff. Hahaha!

2.) If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?

- I would say 8 years old. I want to go back to the old days when I still knew how it felt like to have someone I can call "Papa". I know that's such a young age and most of the fun in life doesn't even start even a teensie bit there. But I still think my childhood is worth considering when I encounter a time machine someday :)

3.) If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?

- "Don't be in a rush to grow up" :)

4.) What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up?

- Breaking Dawn part 2! The part when I thought.. (Hehe okay I won't spoil)

5.) If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?

- Hmmm. I would probably want to witness the sinking of Titanic! It would be really heartbreaking, but it would be life-changing as well.

6.) What do you spend most of your money on?

- Food :( Such a fatty.

- I would rather have the power to be invisible as I can always sneak outside my room and finish tubs and tubs of ice cream without my mom finding out who it was. Hehehe plus I think I would be scared to read other people's thoughts. Heheh some things need a hint of privacy.

10.) If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?

- Emma Stone! Hahaha just kidding. She's perf though. I don't think I'd choose to change my name. I'm fine with it the way it is :)

1. What’s the story behind your URL?

There is really no story behind it, I just thought that since I don't have a specific subject to write to in this blog, I just post the most random things I feel like posting, hence the URL - living in random thoughts, because I feel that in every blog post I make, it just corresponds on how much I live my life randomly. I mean, I don't do the same things everyday, I don't even write in my blog everyday for updates. I just post randomly. Am I understandable? haha :P 

2. Have you ever fallen in love? If yes, how does it feel?

Yes ^_^ It felt...magical. (I need not say more) 

3. What’s the best advice you've given or been given?

 Don't think of how others see you, think about how you see yourself because at the end of the day, it's you who will be feeling great, not them. Don't be someone else, screw what society thinks, just be yourself :)

4. Do you own a diary?

I own a diary when I was in high school, but since I've started using tumblr, I stopped owning one. :D 

5. Who is the coolest person you’ve ever met?

My best friends :) They are the coolest persons I've met as far as my life goes. 

6. What is your biggest regret?

regret? I think it would be too public to announce it here. sorry 

7. Who is your inspiration:

My parents :) They strengthen me as I live through everyday of my life.

8. What do you wish to do before 2012 ends?

I want to finish reading A Game of Thrones! HAHAHA. I've been starting to read this book since last month but I don't seem to near its ending. (too busy now in school)

Last Saturday with my very best friends ^_^

 When his classmates devised a plan on shoving us together for the last dance on our turn-over ceremony (it was an informal prom). It was the most romantic thing I've experienced :)
