Yasss! Finally after 3 years! I got a new camera! Iāve meaning to get a new one. Itās been on my Christmas wish list for two consecutive years. I have no plans of getting it this January though because Iām still torn on which camera should I get. Iām very indecisive that I donāt know which one to get between Sony, Samsung or Canon.Ā
Donāt get me wrong, I absolutely love my Sony NEX-5n, it has been with me since 2012. My Sony camera still works fine and perfectly, I just really want an upgrade. I also love my Canon 500D but it's now too big for me and I don't use it that much so my sister is using it now. Anyway, here it is.. the Canon G7x which I bought last Sunday (January 24).
The main reason why I wanted to get a new camera is because I want a smaller camera that I just can put inside my bag anytime and I want a camera that has Wifi/NFC so I can connect it to my phone and quickly transfer photos, plus the flip screen or selfie screen and the G7x got them all so yas!
I was thinking of getting the Sony RX100 iii because Iām so in love with my Sony NEX-5n that I wanna stick to Sony. But the Sony RX100 iii costs almost a thousand dollars, for a digital camera that would be really expensive and this Canon only costs around $800 but I got in on sale so I paid around $650. They pretty much have the same specs and features but I bet the RX100 iii is way more better but for now I think Iām good with the G7x. I was also choosing between Sony RX100 iii, Canon G7x and Samsung NX Mini but the NX mini doesnāt have that much good reviews unlike the Canon G7x that most of the youtubers rave about.Ā
Thatās the flash over there, forgot to pop it out.
