The truth about Asians. :D
Chasing pavements (cut) cover.
I was inspired by the first episode of Glee Season 4, so here it is. Haha.
P.S. This was a dare.
Thank you stress! :D
Because of the stress I got from Nursing, with all its demands (dance practices, batch and class responsibilities, quizzes, etc.), I lost 2.5 kg in a week. Gosh. It's not healthy, but hey, I lost weight and I am very happy. HAHA. :))
The Mumbles of a Nursing Student
Before I will officially start my hospital duty tomorrow, I just want to write a blog post of what it really means to become a nursing student. How student nurses cope up with everyday life - socially, mentally, spiritually and physically- and all the different interesting and gory situations that we will soon encounter.
First of all, I just want to say something about my course. Nursing may seem to be too complicated and tiresome in the perspective of others. Well, it is. I am not presenting any argument against that. But, there is one word that describes nursing in my opinion, and that is perfection. Perfection because we can't deem to make any mistakes while on duty since we are handling the lives of people, of the living. Even a 0.001 % percent error on any medical procedure can already risk the lives of our patients. Thus, we have to be careful in everything we do to avoid such an occurrence.
Next, I am seriously frightened for my first duty at the hospital tomorrow. I am scared since I still haven't mastered the art of taking vital signs and charting. I seriously have to review.
So, for the next few weeks, I am planning to post my nursing experiences so that I could just let my thoughts out about my course. Hopefully, soon, I will learn to love this. :)
After 5 months...
I finally took a seat behind the wheel.
It has been exactly 5 months since I last drove a car. It felt so refreshing yet kind of heart pounding because it seemed like all about driving was new to me. But, at the end of the drive home, it felt exhilarating that I don't want to stop. Chos. Haha. Still, it was an experience that brought back memories of my summer last year. That is why I plan to continue my "night driving lessons" again so that I could finally get my non-professional driver's license. :))
P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the ever gorgeous Jillian! Haha. Thanks sa libre and I hope na nagustuhan mo yung surprise namin for you. :))
Change
I had just changed my tumblr theme 'cause I was tired of the old one. I am a one happy and satisfied little creature. :D
