Metroid Prime fans:
Is Hunters on the DS any good? Saw a short gameplay video and I’m curious as to how aiming handles with the DS controls. The Wii ports felt really smooth because you moved with the nunchuk and aimed/shot with the wiimote. It’s hella cheap at work and the holographic box-art pleases me (very few of our old DS games still have their box). Thoughts?
Legend of Legacy, Yay or Nay?
Trying out the demo on the eShop and hoo boy, I have zero clue what the fuck I’m doing. Little to no plot, nary a tutorial in sight, and in terms of reviews, half the people think it’s an overlooked gem of a love letter to old-school JRPGs and the other half think it’s a frustrating, directionless pile of dog shit. The Atlus logo got my attention, and I’m a sucker for art books and soundtracks, but does anyone know if it’s worth forty bucks?
So I wanna learn ASL. One of the characters in my upcoming webcomic is mute (I’m super excited to devise a visual representation in her speech bubbles to coincide with her signing), and I just started watching GANGSTA, so my interest spiked. My sister’s been teaching herself for a while now with some app that she’ll share with me, but does anyone else have some good resources for learning and/or preexisting examples in comics?
Interested in checking out GANGSTA. I see it’s still ongoing and there’s already a dub running a few steps behind. Does anyone have any preference? Is the dub any good, or should I just stick to sub?
