My one celebrity moment was going to high school with Ian.
This.
Ya..... I went to high school with Ian, we had the same biology class.
Congrats to friend and Fort Collins local Ian Dory for his send of Wheel of Life (V15/16/5.14d/5.15a)!!! A very noteworthy accomplishment, as the Wheel is probably the hardest long boulder problem in the world. SICK!!!
If you're looking for some interesting reading this Wednesday morning, click the orange title above to check out the Flashed Team Blog. Ian Dory reports on his experiences winning the Ultimate Bouldering Championship's Noreaster event, competing in the World Cup, and visiting Australia with Nalle Hukkatival and Dave Graham; Brian Sweeney reports on injury, recovery, and new boulders; David Heerema takes you along on the first few legs of his European trip, including Mallorca, Albarracín, and Fontainebleau, and there are a couple of videos of Yves Gravelle and Joel Zerr to boot. Enjoy!
