Hello fellow Tumblrites!

I am a newly minted dog trainer and I am working towards further designations.

For now, I would like to offer my experience as a Service Dog Foundations trainer for a low cost via video call.

I would help with the foundations, not tasking (though I can help you find resources and trainers for that). These foundational skills are what your pup needs to succeed as an adult. Skills like the following:

- auto focus

- cued focus

- auto leave it

- cued leave it

- nose target

- settle

- follow

- loose leash walking

- and more

I would love to work with you and can work on a sliding scale, but my current prices are $25 CAD or $20USD per hour.

I believe that we can tackle up to 3 skills in 30 minutes/ 5 in an hour. You can book as you need (i.e. not once a week for 10 weeks).

While I do train at PetSmart, that is not the foundational training I am talking about.

Another date another dollar. They're doing my exit interview today. Never done one of those before. Didn't know they were a real thing two years ago.

Today is a freezer organization day in the Song home. So @newpogodi got to sorting while I started breaking down greens for dog food (to go into the newly organized freezer). I got 4 bags out of the Pak Choi we picked up yesterday and 3.5 bags of our garden greens and 1.5 bags of green cabbage that was at the end of its shelf life. (A total of 8 bags with 500g of green mush!)

We still have 4 broccoli florets to break down - frozen too solid to safely cut up. And the freezer is navigable again!!

I also put a bit of leftover dog treat 'mush' into the dehydrator!

Ianto was keen on helping me empty out yesterday's fibre bomb treats lol!

We have at least another batch of dog snacks!! I pulled out some beef liver and banana to make some with!

@newpogodi made some amazing chicken heart treats we are almost out of... Gotta keep the boys in their treats!

Ianto and I are about to fly 3353 km (2074 mi) from Vancouver to Toronto for my gma's funeral. He is doing very well.

Klaus is home with Edge for the week. They are going to have a great week. But I will miss them dearly while I'm back in my home province.

Today is my partner's birthday. We 'met' a year ago today online (in person in about a week lol). Two days ago it was his ex's birthday (we are all friends) so he, I and the Boys went to her house for the evening.

Then yesterday we went to his other ex's parents house, with the first ex, the second ex's wife, their ex, and another friend (we are all friends) for an old school sleepover. but the boys couldn't come. So Ianto and Klaus got to spend the night in a daycare's overnight set up and they ALSO made a bunch of friends and played etc. (I got videos).

This was Ianto about an hour ago (he's been that way since we got home at about 10:30)

It was a lot of fun... But it's going to be a long ass time before I agree to do something like this again. This alongside the party my partner threw on my birthday (29 days ago) is just too much for me.

Klaus doesn't really need the bandana, but it makes things easier for him.

@newpogodi and I picked up the boys a few minutes ago from their camp counsellor. She's great.

Now it's 2 hours on transit to get home but much better than the $90 Uber lol. I have been getting too lax with taking Ubers in the last 16 or so months. Time to remember that I hate the company and fucking suck up the extra hour and 10 minutes this trip is taking each way. Uber and other rideshare apps are unsustainable and I hate them.

Time also to start budgeting a downpayment for a house or something.
