VIDEO WITH MUSIC: “Is She Out There?” - Anthony Greninger

Stumbled across this beauty today while on my daily search for music.  This one comes from piano instrumentalist Anthony Greninger.  I don’t know much about Anthony, but I do know he’s a fucking wizard on those keys.  This is his 2nd attempt at a love song and I’m going to say he nailed it.  The video he used for the song is a Disney animated short titled “Paperman” and it fits perfectly with the music in the background. This one gave way to a rally of different emotions and I will be coming back to this song again and again for some time. Great stuff and I can’t wait to hear more.

MUSIC VIDEO: “Yonder Blue” - Tortoise

One of the most relaxing videos and songs I’ve had the pleasure to listen/watch this year comes from a band called “Tortoise” out of Chicago, IL.  Their album “The Catastrophist” is out now on Thill Jockey Records.  The band labels themselves under the “Concrete/Freestyle” genre.  You really can’t put these guys into a certain area of music. So abstract and atmospheric, this band is one to look out for in 2016.  Please give this a watch and if you like it, make sure you go support them and buy their album.

MUSIC VIDEO: “Deepcore” - Locklead

Today I’m bringing one trippy fucking video from producer and artist Locklead with help from FACT Magazine.  This song is on Locklead’s “Deepcore EP” which I highly recommend checking out.  The visuals for this make absolutely no sense what so ever, which is makes it so different and watchable.  You just want to see what weird stuff pops out at you next. MUSIC VIDEO/SHORT FILM: “FUCKKKYOUUU” - Flying Lotus/Eddie Alcazar

You wanna watch some weird ass shit? Look no further.  Flying Lotus is back with another short film and this one is wayyyyyy more fucked than the last.  I’d expect nothing less from Flying Lotus with his composing being played throughout the whole video, which makes it THAT much more eerie.  The info that listeners/watches get is this,  “ With the ability to travel in time, a lonely girl finds love and comfort by connecting with her past self. Eventually faced with rejection she struggles with her identity and gender, and as time folds onto itself only one of them can remain.”  If that’s not a cool back story, I don’t know what is.  Watch this video, but make sure it’s right before you go to bed.

MUSIC VIDEO: “Mercedes” - Tedy Andreas

Tedy Andreas is a hip hop artist from Houston, Texas.  His debut mixtape is called “Mad Illusions” and has gotten a lot of hype and plays on SoundCloud from it’s release 6 months ago.  I was first put on him from a good friend of mine, Nick McCarthy.  He said to check him out and I’m glad I fucking did.  This video is for the song “Mercedes” and I think that this song has one of catchiest hooks from a rap song that I’ve heard in early 2016 so far.  I’m very excited to see where this young but talented artist goes from here.
