it was fine i think. here's my takes:
the first two-ish hours went by like THAT, they were super quick, but the last one did drag. i think they could've ended it sooner than they did since they had a pretty perfect opportunity to
i immediately noticed a couple of minor plot holes but i don't think they really matter all that much. i expect to see them in listicles that are like TOP TEN THINGS THAT DON'T MAKE SENSE IN THE BATMAN!!! but i don't think they matter. like who cares. just bringing them up here to get ahead of the curve
you get to see a lot of stupid shit, like they take themselves seriously for most of it but there's a lot of absolute nonsense (in a good way, like the perfect stupid way)
makeup and costuming was good, and overall the stunting was really good, too. i've been trying to take notice of and appreciate stuff like that more often.
they missed a really obvious connection between two things (i can't say which for spoiler reasons) only to get to the same conclusion in a very dumb way. i swear the first one had to be what was originally intended and then they just dumbed it down because the actual way they got there is simply bad
i think this was one of the more interesting and nuanced ways that classism has been brought up in a batman property because instead of just going hmm rich people bad it tells you why they're bad instead of expecting you to think that mentioning #society is deep in of itself
speaking of that i did not find the riddler's performance particularly compelling. while i don't mind them changing the character to fit the idea of this movie (maybe i would if i was a batman villain person but i'm not and i am a better man for it) and he was realistically scary i didn't find the actor to be that great in the role. not about how they dressed him for it (again, makeup and costuming was great) but just about. the actual acting. also that was just cliff carmichael i'm sorry that was literally just cliff carmichael

also the theater i was in didn't turn the lights off completely and i don't know why
