Jungle Cruise - Disney's Magic Kingdom by J.L. Ramsaur Photography Via Flickr: One of the best and longest running attractions at the Magic Kingdom, the Jungle Cruise was opened in 1971 and remains as one of the most popular rides to this day. You'll board a boat with names like "Amazon Annie" or "Zambesi Zelda" with your trusted guide at the helm. While they all follow the same "shtick", the guides are what make this attraction so much fun, especially if they throw in a few ad-libs. Even when you've heard the same corny joke a thousand times before, you can't help but laugh. You'll pass through hippo infested waters, but don't worry, they'll only attack if their ears are wiggling (which they always are.) On the shore there's a rhino keeping the hunters "busy," lions lounging on a rock outcropping, headhunters, zebras, snakes and giant butterflies all amidst a tropical landscape that any jungle would be proud of. If you manage to stay dry by the waterfall, watch out for the elephants. Will they douse you or are you safe? You'll only find out the secret once you've completed the Jungle Cruise. Eventually, you'll pass through a darkened Cambodian temple where tigers are watching over ancient treasures. Once you emerge from this tunnel, you head back to civilization. Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~Jeremiah 29:11

Rock 'N' Roller Coaster - Disney's Hollywood Studios by J.L. Ramsaur Photography Via Flickr: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith opened on July 30, 1999 and is one of Disney's most exhilarating rides. This extreme coaster is teamed with the exciting sound of America’s legendary rock band, Aerosmith, creating a high-speed thrill ride that will literally rock ‘n’ roll guests. This indoor roller coaster features a high-speed launch of 0-57 mph in 2.8 seconds, three inversions, rock-concert lighting and a specially created Aerosmith soundtrack blasting from 120 onboard speakers in each coaster train -- all firsts for a Walt Disney World attraction. The attraction begins with a tour of the fictional G-Force Records. Here guests encounter Aerosmith finishing up a studio recording session. They notice all of their "fans" and invite you to join them in their limo as they head to a concert. You all head to the boarding area and climb into a 24-passenger “stretch limo” and swiftly accelerate into the Hollywood night. Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6. Tree of Life (details) - Disney's Animal Kingdom by J.L. Ramsaur Photography Via Flickr: In the trunk of the Tree of Life in the center of Disney's Animal Kingdom, there are many of the world's animals represented in wood. This image is closer than any other that I've previously posted and you can see many of the represented animals...such as an eagle, seahorse, beaver, ram, turtle, buffalo, tiger, roadrunner, gecko, porcupine, squirrel, ant, snake, rhinoceros, starfish, deer, lobster, and many different fish just to name a few. I love these details included by the Disney Imagineers... Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Dumbo the Flying Elephant Ride - Disney's Magic Kingdom by J.L. Ramsaur Photography Via Flickr: Dumbo the Flying Elephant is a carousel ride that 'flys' up and down on your command of the on-board joystick. It is located in the Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland. The colors of the attraction are striking, and the blues, reds and golds fit in perfectly with the circus theme. Dumbo is also one of the original attractions dating back to the Magic Kingdoms opening in 1971. Technical Information (or Nerdy Stuff): Camera - Nikon D7200 (handheld) Lens – Nikkor 18-300mm Zoom ISO – 320 Aperture – f/3.5 Exposure – 1/1600 second Focal Length – 18mm The original RAW file was processed with Adobe Camera Raw and final adjustments were made with Photoshop CS6.
