just wanted you to know that i am absolutely in love with your lokius fics….have read them countless times. you totally get their dynamic and it’s so so good.
a random scenario for you:
i know both of your fics entail Loki seeking Mobius out or each seeking the other out, in order to get what they need, but I’d love to hear about what you think of Loki isolating himself when he gets to the point of needing Mobius and his gentle guidance, his quiet but firm voice, etc.
would Mobius sense that something was wrong, in this case? or happen to stumble upon Loki in such a worked up and lost state that he has no choice but to act quickly? many thoughts, head empty.

I’m not gonna lie anon, when I first got this ask I was wine drunk at 2am and I had a little cry about it and then completely forgot to answer, but thank you so so much for the kind words<3
As for the scenario: I truly think Loki has mastered the art of pretending everything is fine throughout his long life, so when he gets to the point of needing Mobius he will instinctively pull away, and pretending nothing is amiss while doing so. He is way too scared of relaying on something that can be taken away, so it will scare him and he will isolate himself, no matter how much it hurts.
Mobius on the other hand, has mastered the art of reading all of Loki’s tells and habits, and will most likely notice straight away. The only thing he won’t understand is why. (and here comes my angsty Mobius hc’s) Mobius really struggles to realize it is him that Loki is afraid of needing and is therefore pulling away. Because Loki is a God, there is no way he feels that way for a lousy, ordinary analyst, right? So I think he will notice, but fail to figure out quite what the problem is before Loki completely breaks and Mobius has to find him and take care of him and that’s when it all makes sense.
