So, iBringDaLulz made a rap remix of Stronger Than You, posted the instrumental and encouraged others to try their hands at their own verse. So...I did this. I quite enjoy rap and often rap along to my favorite artists, but this was the first time I rapped something I wrote myself.

Here the lyrics:

Fairly certain I'm cheating here, but since I can't find any evidence that says it didn't came out 2011, I'ma include it anyway.

Holy shit Lulz, what the fuck happened to you? Dude was one of the top dogs in the fandom. Then he met Amethyst--who gets too much shit by the way--and suddenly took his ball and went home. Deleted all his songs and everything. Never heard anything from him again.

Meanwhile, there's this gem. Which I continue to love and admire like a fan who can't let go.

Which is what I am.

Anyway, this was my first taste of Ken Ashcorp, a guy I would go on to love and admire for years to come.

It's ridiculous how many times I listen to him.

Also fairly sure I'm one of the few who actually bought his shirt.

Anyway, Lulz, man, I remember loving most of your shit. Dude knew how to fuckin rap. He's a lot like Mic: goes hard, but sometimes lacks in the lyrics department. Nothing personal, never has been. Just...sometimes not my bag.

Don't discredit the guy though. Nicest fucker I knew. I honestly miss him. He's a real world presence the fandom needed.

And I'm tempted to say it's not one we deserved.

Speaking of songs I'll probably never get into again.

This came as a surprise to me because in 2012 after I came back from the shit that happened I didn't really give any reference to bronies, and after Canterlot Garden and all its...existence, I was kind of full of my pony for a while.

Boom here goes Balloon Party with a random recommendation from somebody and I got myself a new brony song to love and admire.

AcousticMando have always been favs of mine. George, Prince, and DJ are new to me but that's alright because I never listened to them after this.

But fuckin Lulz? That's another post for another day but this man just fuckin killed it on this track. The beat really served him well, and all in all, it mixes together to form a stand out track for me. It's the highest rated brony song I've listed (something that won't last, trust me) and the one that I remember vividly loving from the start.

I don't listen to a lot of screaming metal so Prince's vocals were a shock, but I quickly learned to love them because it worked with Acoustic's softer melodic voice.

The song wouldn't have been this high if not for it's time and place. Any other time with any other recommendation and I would have passed this shit by. But since it worked out well at the time, it works out well now.
