Automatic Lights
So our dressing room has automatic lights and I've never been the first person to enter the dressing room before. I walked in today and the lights turned on by themselves and I just felt like a magical beautiful powerful being.

Automatic Lights
So our dressing room has automatic lights and I've never been the first person to enter the dressing room before. I walked in today and the lights turned on by themselves and I just felt like a magical beautiful powerful being.
"Hm... seems like you have neglected your need for rest..." Lucy said, perhaps as a slight admonishing tone. Of course, immortal beings didn't need rest so often, but Jack seemed really tired "It is time for you to get rest, Jack... Let me take care of you..."
Jack chuckled sluggishly. "Okay, mommy." He managed to say even in his drowsy state. It's been a long, long time since he had been taken care like this by his mother. Not that he saw Lucy as his mother. Jack had just reminisced a lot of memories from when he was still a mortal.
Lucy smiled softly as Jack gave in to her handling, softly pulling Jack to rest his head on her soft chest. She continued to caress the boy's hair "It is alright.. even Guardians need a source of light in their lives.." she murmured, starting to hum a calming tone with her divine voice
"Mm." Jack hummed in agreement as he was trying to stay awake. As soon as Lucy started humming such a sleep-provoking tone from in her voice, it made it harder for Jack to keep himself awake. His blinking lasted longer, and his breathing started to form a calm and easy rhythm.

"Hm... How pessimistic..." she remarked, brushing some of Jack's soft hair "I... am convinced that there will always be at least one person who believes.... There are billions of human beings on this Earth, after all..." she comforted, now pointing on herself "I will make sure you will not disappear, for as long as I am the Guardian of Light and I am alive..."
"Well, sorry for being pessimistic." The winter spirit sighed. As Lucy softly caressed his hair, Jack drooped his head like a little innocent puppy, demanding the girl to carry on as it made him a tab bit drowsy. “I guess I gotta thank you for that someday." Jack drawled with a soft chuckle, yawning a little after.

The woman smiled sweetly, happy of his reaction. However, her smile faded in the blink of an eye by his next inquiry "There... have been quite the many casualties lately... So I have had my hands full with prayers and bringing light to people's lives. The work of a servant of God and a Guardian is never over, now is it, Jack...?"
Jack solemnly nodded, concurring with the saint's statement. "I guess it never really is, until we're completely forgotten that is." The time of the world was running fast. Soon enough, the humans will completely become oblivious of their existence. Jack couldn't say anything anymore but let out a sigh.
"Wha- heeeey!" Lucy protested at first, but soon burst out laughing as she found it rather amusing that he played around with her face. Lucy flashed him a smile, taking his hands off her, then proceeding to lay a kiss on his lips "How about that for an answer...?"
Jack quickly flushed a shade of red after Lucy nipped on his lips as a flustered expression made its way to his countenance. The lad eventually chuckled and played along. "Hmm, yeah, okay. I'll take it." Jack shrugged, letting out another small chuckle. "So where've you been all this time?"
