First of all, a million thanks to my two wonderful betas, @storyweaver_secretkeeper and @AcrylicAgony for putting up with me and helping me through this.
I don’t really know what to say. I sat down a little over a year ago with a bottle of wine and some vague ideas, and here we are today.
Never in my life did I expect to finish a story, especially one of this length as a first-time writer and non-native English speaker, and keep up with illustrations to boot. I have learned so much from this project. I have made new friends and got to know many of you over the months.
I am not a particularly social person. I am terrible at interacting with people, keeping in touch and reaching out, even responding to comments. I know I have been a bit slow at times, but I want you all to know that every single comment and message has meant the world to me. 🖤
I hope the ending did not disappoint.
An epilogue turned ten-chapter piece is in the works and should hopefully start posting in a few weeks.
In the meantime, I hope you all enjoyed the ride.

In the meantime, IBTTW cleanup is nearly halfway done! It’s taking a bit longer than expected since I’ve ended up rewriting a lot more than I originally planned, but hoping to wrap it up by the end of next week :’)

I'm hoping to finish the first pass by the end of next week and start editing it afterwards. In the meantime, I'm also picking at IBTtW, cleaning it up a little and fixing mistakes. I'm also planning to clean up the line art for some of the pieces that were unfinished or abandoned along the way, so hopefully it will have some more art to go along with it as well.
