*shakes fist* INCONVENIENT RANDOM WORLD HOLES!! Last time it was part of my house, now my magic altar?!?!?! And half my storage shed! What devilry is this?? >=(
are you sure going back to inertia is an alright idea?
Well, already on the upside is I got my memories back! Nothing was discouraging me from going through that portal, so here I am!
And I can’t just abandon Cassandra. Not again.
I don’t think anyone would be there but what do I know? I’m stuck inside four walls with limited contact outside of here.
=( I’ll find a way help you, I promise!
I’m not sure where to look for them, though… I don’t have a phone to call them. At least if I can get into the studio there will be a phone. And a list of their numbers because I might not remember them off the top of my head.
The Goddess sent you home, right? Did she tell you where to go?
Yes, and I think she meant to give me a hint, but I lost everything I had on me when I went through the portal! I’m on my way to the studio right now to try to find the rest of the guys. Maybe she told them stuff, too, and we can piece it together, uh… together!
A Strange Find, Pt 2
Okay, so...that pulsating purple cloud was harmless as far as I can tell, I ducked under it to reach the glass case because I wanted to know what was in it! All it held was this “Subdued Spirit”...
I don’t know what this is but I kind of feel.. drawn to it. =o
When I turned around I saw THIS on the other side of the portal. 0_0
I’ve never seen anything like this in all my adventuring, either!
But for some reason I can ꜰ ᴇ ᴇ ʟ ɪ ᴛ ґℯṧøηαтε...
Nothing for it but to go in and see where it might lead! =D
A Strange Find, Pt 1
So I found this amulet of “Homecoming” and right as I picked it up I was teleported!
I have no idea where this is, and it definitely isn’t home! But it looks like there might be something interesting up there!
Wow, I’ve never seen a portal that looked like THIS before!
Hey, looks like there’s a little house or some...thing...
D= WHAT is THAT???!
Crossing the Streams, Pt 2
He woke with a loud snort as if he had merely been snoring in peaceful sleep. He felt anything but peaceful about it. Disoriented barely scratched the surface. Why was he lying on a wooden floor, out in the open air? He had a perfectly good bed in a castle… Didn’t he?
… Where was he?
Parv looked around rapidly. A sea of treetops greeted him, lit by predawn light. Something hollow-sounding clattered somewhere below him and there was a sinister groan off to his left. Skeletons. Zombies. Those he began to remember. Those were normal for this time of day.
His mind felt completely jumbled beyond that.
The sun cleared the horizon. The clattering noise increased as the skeleton caught fire. The zombie likewise began to growl in protest as it began to burn up. Parvis waited for the noise to stop before he began dismantling the platform. No point in wasting perfectly good wooden planks. He worked his way inward to the patch of wool; he could pick up any fallen planks on his way down and when he reached the ground.
Once there he dug through his backpack for clues. Clues to just about anything. His memory of the castle was fuzzy but he felt somewhat certain he lived in one. It had been a common theme.
Or at least that’s how it felt.
He came upon a map and unrolled it. There was a spot far to the south labeled “Creepy Island” and a trail of inland markings led to where he assumed he was now. He would have to backtrack to confirm it, but after retrieving a compass he could see that he’d been traveling steadily northward.
He ate breakfast and decided to backtrack to find if he had placed a marker at the last spot on the map. He must have left the castle to find resources.
Yet he couldn’t recall where the castle itself was.
