"Have i ever told you how beautiful you look in the glow of the moonlight?"
//from Opal to Rose!
It had come as both a shock and a delight when Opal asked her to accompany her tonight. Some sort of party, she'd said. Rose would've said yes even if she hadn't needed to contain her eagerness at the invitation.
That's where they were now, walking to their destination side by side. Opal had told her to walk there and not behind her and it made her feel... strangely warm. Hands are folded neatly and resting in front of her, prim and proper despite the ease in her shoulders and the softness of her smile. Opal speaks and she turns her head to listen, though her expression swiftly turns to an almost flustered surprise. Her cheeks color with blush and one of those hands raises, fingertips resting lightly on her cheek in sheepish fashion. It only takes a mere second for the surprise to melt down into another smile. "Oh-- you flatter me, Opal, really. I'm happy that you enjoy it..."
Her glittering gaze shifts back onto Opal, from under her lashes. "Although, I wish you could see how radiant you are now. The softness of the light caresses your skin and shines in your eyes. It illuminates your hair as if it were made just for you... I should be so lucky, to be able to see you like this.”
