💽 It is early in the morning when one of R.E.A.C.H.'s mainframes goes up in flames and chaos ensues inside and outside the building. The last known person to operate R.E.A.C.H. in that portion of the lab was Warren Marsh, but not much is known beyond this at that point.
The police is sent out for damage control and to execute any witnesses on the spot while also recovering everything of importance.
The copy of R.E.A.C.H. that was inside the now destroyed mainframe? It appears gone along with the computers. Several Test Subjects have escaped in the chaos and scattered in the forest around the lab. They are hunted down, but one is still missing. Warren Marsh himself is nowhere to be found either, making him a key suspect in the events that went down that morning...
🐺 It's just another day in hell!
It may be early still, but shuttles are already taking off or arriving in the far distance while Tempest is parking his car near the Wall. It is usually during the night that the Corp gets rid of their trash, when no one sees them committing their heinous crimes. Most of the time, the already injured people they dump don't survive and the runoff beneath the wall is littered with corpses and the stench of death by now. But there are always exceptions, too, and Tempest hopes to get to those 'newbies' before any of the wretched Termites do.
And this early morning, Tempest seems to be in luck. (You know, as much as you can call it luck, anyway.) He can eventually make out vague movement within the waste tunnel and he stumbles inside, careful to not step on something he shouldn't. The dirty water is ice-cold on top of everything else.
"Yo! Welcome to Paradise!" Oh he just can't help it.
"I'm going to be your tour guide today. I've got some mostly clean towels waiting in my car. Emphasis on mostly. Couple bandages too, if you're in the market." He flashes a grin. "The name's Tempest!"
