@grudginggreen ;; ♥’d for a starter from jules !!
he’s early as always. twenty minutes of time to grab a coffee from the vending machine down the hall, prep the classroom, get comfortable and wait for his usual ‘crowd’ of three to pour in. it’s almost a ritual by now, even though he’s barely been back in town for three months. of course the av club isn’t overrun with students - he had figured as much when he started at the school. it’s a miracle that they haven’t been shut down yet. it’s probably mainly the fact that the club looked good on the flyers advertising the school: as if they actually put an effort in for their students.
this time - to his surprise - he’s not the first at the door. a girl is waiting by the lockers, and he doesn’t recall having seen her before.
“hey there”, he greets, coffee cup steaming hot, half balanced on the palm of his hand as he fidgets the keys out of his pocket. “you’re here for av club?”
@twiped ;; plotted starter !!
“remember that you need to have all the pictures ready next week. we have to start editing or else they won’t be finished in time. please go through everything you have so far and narrow it down to your three favorites.”
he’s starting to pack up his things while speaking, and with a quick glance to his wristwatch to confirm the time he nods. “alright, that’s a wrap. get out of here, and i’ll see you in a week.”
his students get up to leave, the familiar hustle and bustle of excitement about the end of the schoolday almost palpable when his eyes fall on the lonely application form still left on his table. damn, he had almost forgotten about that!
“hey, peter? you mind staying for a minute?”
