i like hearing you laugh. (ros and steffon)
Merriment flowed in Cider Hall, music and dancing and flowing drink. His father had taken the announcement of a new, impending, heir well, and this feast was in the child's honour even if it was really for them.
"I should hope so, my lady." Her words brought another laugh from him, his face flushed with the celebrations. "You wring it from me often."
Leonella and Steffon for @zobrizys
"I agree it is a strange prohibition."
Agreeing to take his sister in law to Oldtown was a mistake. Rosalyne remained behind to govern Cider Hall in his stead, and Steffon came to make a small fortune in the lists.
If he ever got out of the Citadel. "I do not think they will change it, however, if you talk the archmaester's ears off."
for steffon: rosalyne (before their son) or leonella
Who would Steffon rather fuck
"Well, that's a complicated question. I am sure my wife will take no offence, however, if I choose Leonella. What Rosalyne and I do is not ... fucking."
[ quiet ] sender joins receiver to sit in comfortable silence (leonella and steffon)
The apple blossoms were in full bloom and the sun warmed the grass in the orchards of Cider Hall. Steffon's father long since relinquished the duties of inspection their crop to stewards and to Steffon, who savoured the excuse to ride out here alone.
Save today, where he was not alone. Their horses set to graze, Steffon and Leonella sat in the shade of an apple tree, neither having spoken for some time - but he found no need to talk, and nothing he could say that he would enjoy more than this peace.
(for the three funniest muses + donnel) 💌 + bright young woman, a princess. long, curly silver-gold hair usually pinned up in intricate braids. dark feminine/goth baddie aesthetic, but very beautiful. kind of a bitch with a foul mouth and bad attitude at first glance but heart of gold underneath it all. hard to pin down without her disorganized attachment style kicking in and her running off but once you do she is deeply loyal and would do anything for you to see you happy. the mommy and daddy issues are unfortunately a package deal with this one but that just means she’s an excellent lay.
date night
Steffon: "You had me at woman."
Aegon: "You seem spirited. I like that in a woman. I don't want to deal with any of those issues though, so I will find myself another."
Visenya: "Is that what is passing for goth these days?"
Donnel: "I think I know this one, and she knows the answer."
[ kiss ] sender kisses receiver's forehead/cheek/etc. (ros and steffon cheek kisses)
"I will be fine."
Rarely did he return wounded from tourneys - he was a skilled knight despite all that was said of him, and he knew how to pick his battles. But even Steffon could choose badly and he had been unhorsed, breaking his ankle in the fall. Her kiss, light as it was, brought a smile to his lips.
"You need not worry about me, my lady. Your health is more important now."
@zobrizys from [X]
"Not all of them," she said, a little defensively. Was he teasing her? "I mean, as many as you can expect from a history, but - never mind. That isn't important." Leonella set the little stack of parchment in front of him, covered in her cramped handwriting. "I've already… Rosalyne looked at them, crossed a few off that she was already thinking about." And cried, but then asked her not to say anything about it. "The rest of them, I like well enough. I made a little mark next to my favourites, but I think they're all fairly good names." She drummed her fingertips rhythmically on the tabletop. "There's a list for girls, and then another for boys, so. I thought Gareth or Laryssa might be especially nice."
Steffon picked up the list, glancing over the names. He recognised quite a few of them, more than he had expected, and pondered his choice for a moment.
“Gareth, hm? Like the old king.” Every highborn boy in the Reach could recite the names of the great Gardener kings of ancient days. “I like that one. Laryssa is pretty. Do you think it will be a girl?”
Indeed, he was starting to think he might be cursed to never father a son - or he would think so, if he believed in such silly superstitions.
