“N - nope! Hadn’t seen him!”
She stammers, trying to shoo the dog away from the door. He made quiet attempts to greet his owner but was met in vain as she blocked the way. Still, the dog had known her long enough to know she was playing with Ken and had no ill intention. Koromaru was always a smart dog.
Pursing his lips in thought, he leaned to the side a little, trying to see past her. Ken thought he could heard small huffs from the dog at first, but they were gone almost as soon as he heard them.
“Are you sure?” He knew Setsuka was most likely hiding him. It was funny to him, because if Koromaru was quiet that meant that he was playing along.
A smile formed on his lips, and he turned away as if he was going to leave. “Well if he’s not here, I guess I’ll just have to go on a walk until I find him.” He made sure to speak slowly near the end, and stressing some of the words.

Ken stared, face paler than usual and eyes wide in shock and horror, at the person who’d just ( literally ) saved his life. The nightmares had been worse than usual lately and he’d been so tired, so out of it, that when he’d stepped onto the crosswalk, he hadn’t noticed the light turn red.
If this person hadn’t pushed him out of the way...
He swallowed, thickly, scratched up hands curling against the cold, hard sidewalk he was still sitting on.
“Th...thank you...”
Setsuka throws herself on ken with hugs and has treats for Koromaru
“Setsuka!” He returns her hugs, and laughs as he watches Koromaru trying to get the treats.
"I'M TAKING KOROMARU AS MY STEED AND I'M RUNNING AWAY!" Not really, but she is distressed now.
Gets into a fighting stance. He’ll protect her from those nasty anons.
