"You should," He presses a feline smile, coy humor pitting the two ends of his lips. He slips beside her in good company, their shoulders a breath's width apart. Cole taps out a cigarette from a dent box, scissors it between two fingers. With a twist of his wrist, the stick fulcrums free and loiters into the space between them. An unspoken offering. "Sometimes you can catch a good seed of truth in a tall tale."

“If you didn’t want me to make you something, why tell me you’re hungry?”

“- And you did it wrong, but does that really come as a surprise to anyone here?” He gestures grandly to the hall that consisted of them and two chairs, pausing for a moment to appreciate how his raised tone echoed off the rafters above.

“You, my dear, have a tendency to let your impulsive actions do the talking. I needed that man breathing, at the very least, and instead, I got delivered a body and a half-assed explanation.” Sylvester throws himself down in one of two chairs in his usual exaggerated fashion before crossing his legs and fixing Charlotte with a look one would give a reprimanded child or a naughty dog. Not one of mature fashion.

“Would you like to tell me what transpired, or are we going to play charades where you act it and I get to guess? I do love family game night.”

‘ let me go! ’

It’s not what Sasuke expects upon checking in on Suengri. It’s become a bit of a habit since his return from the incident, both parents were nervous about leaving him alone for too long. They’ve agreed that while it is a sensitive time, neither of them need to smother him now. Though when night fell, the whines, whimpers, and light thrashing echo through the halls and cause the father to stir. It’s not something Sasuke can ignore, so he’s immediately drawn to Suen’s room and makes his way in as quietly as he could to find that the other might have been in what he’d think was a nightmare. Not uncommon as of late, he’s surely had enough trauma to creep up on him in the late hours. Inching closer, Sasuke’s hesitant to wake him but Suengri’s growing louder by the second, so he reaches down to lightly nudge his shoulders.

“Su--”

“Let me go!” is shouted at him, causing Sasuke to blink a few times in confusion before his quick reflexes kick in and he’s grabbing hold of Suengri’s wrists to keep him from thrashing in his direction. He must not know where he is again, Sasuke thinks. “It’s only me!” Let me go! “Calm down-- that’s enough, Suengri.” Trying to snap him out of his daze, the last few words were loud and firm enough to cause him to grow still, arms limp and no longer trying to thrash in Sasuke’s direction. He’s unsure if the boy is still asleep or not, he was sat up right and looked quite panicked, his eyes--wait, his eyes. 

It’s only a brief moment that Sasuke thinks he sees a flash of red, but just as quickly as he’d seen it, the eyes close tightly. “Hey...” His voice is lower, calmer as he tries to reason with the shaking boy, grip loosening as he holds back the urge to coddle him like he did when he had nightmares as a child. Instead one of his hands reach for his chin, tilting his head up to properly see the younger. “Look at me for a moment.” The thought comes back to mind, unsure of whether or not he was only seeing things in the darkness of his son’s bedroom. When Suengri’s eyes reach that of his father’s, they’re as blue as they’ve always been. More panicked, for sure, but nothing out of the ordinary compared to what he’d been thinking; he’s sure he was just seeing things earlier.

“Fine, you can do it yourself.” Kylo replied. He had not reservations about making the other let him bandage him. If Poe thought he could do it on his own, Kylo would let him. He wasn’t here to be anyone’s slave. He didn’t care if people had their reservations about him. He was here to finish off what was left of the First Order and then move on with his life. He had no intention to dwell with these people long.

He was waiting for Kaito to return to the hangar. He had to keep watch around it, make sure no one else came by. They couldn’t risk getting caught with this plan- it was risky enough as is. 

They needed another body for the plan to actually work. Someone needed to go into the press, and Kaito refused to Kokichi’s original plan. So this- this was what they came up with instead. 

It was risky. Going out to get someone else’s body was almost too risky. But that’s just something they had to take a chance on- and it was better than both of them dying, right? 

If it failed, Monokuma shouldn’t be able to do anything to them. He shouldn’t even be able to do anything to the others for voting wrong either- especially because the person who was going to be in the hydraulic press died in a previous case. The true blackened was already found. All that mattered was if the mastermind didn’t know. That’s the goal here- to give an unfair trial and (hopefully) put an end to the killing game.

It was stressful, waiting for Kaito to get back. What if he got caught? What if he took too long, and time ran out? 

It was like a weight was lifted when Kokichi saw him return- walking up to the doors of the hangar.

“Well, took you long enough! We’re on a tight schedule you know!”

The autumn sun’s warmth still retained bits and pieces of summer, one that, to the teenager, had gone by much too quickly. They had wanted to do so many things over those two months, but time slipped through their fingers without their notice. With the school year beginning soon, the pair of boys had decided to make one final trek out to the city.

The taller of the two paused mid step to look back at his friend, a grin on his lips.

“C’mon Alisx, at this pace we’re going to get there next summer!”

Alisx wrinkled his nose and stuck out his tongue childishly at the other boy as he got out his phone from his back pocket. “Hey if you want to carry me so we get there faster, be my guest, prince Cas. But first give me a second to text Jinx, i’m low on bars so I think the signal is going to drop soon.”

Cas laughed in response, sliding his arm around Alisx and pulling him in close to press a kiss to his dark black hair. “Alright, let’s take a cute selfie though.”

Color dusted Alisx’s face, but he obliged his partner’s silly whims and took a photo cheek to cheek with him. After sending it to their friend along with their location and promises to not forget to bring back fresh strawberries, he slipped his phone back into his pocket and leaned into Cas.

“She really would kill us if we forgot that fruit for her.”

Cas smirked, tousling the smaller boy’s hair with elegant fingers. “Well if you’d pick up the pace we’d be able to actually get her treat. Look, you’re going so slow that car is slowing down to make sure you’re not a zombie or anything.”

Alisx hadn’t noticed the car trailing behind them until Cas pointed it out, but when he turned his head a deep blue and rather beat up car had drawn up beside the pair.

He could feel Cas tense, his hand grasping Alisx’s and gingerly pulled him to stand slightly behind him. He wanted to scold his partner for being so overprotective but at the same time it made him feel secure when Cas looked out for him so much.

“Can we help you?”

“N - nope! Hadn’t seen him!”

She stammers, trying to shoo the dog away from the door. He made quiet attempts to greet his owner but was met in vain as she blocked the way. Still, the dog had known her long enough to know she was playing with Ken and had no ill intention. Koromaru was always a smart dog.

Pursing his lips in thought, he leaned to the side a little, trying to see past her. Ken thought he could heard small huffs from the dog at first, but they were gone almost as soon as he heard them. 

“Are you sure?” He knew Setsuka was most likely hiding him. It was funny to him, because if Koromaru was quiet that meant that he was playing along.

A smile formed on his lips, and he turned away as if he was going to leave. “Well if he’s not here, I guess I’ll just have to go on a walk until I find him.” He made sure to speak slowly near the end, and stressing some of the words.
