also wants to make plushie toys of people she holds dear
there are small wooden pieces scattered all around her on the floor, big parasol left by the corner. wamdus then lifts one of the pieces, colorful eyes inspecting it with curiosity "muge said he couldn't play with me because neha needed his help today. do you know how to play this? " // for phoebe from wammy! it's jenga btw JSSJISJSI
W-what should she do...? A wonderful opportunity is presented before her and she is happy. Being relied on and being able to mimic the kindness the captain and Ladiva showed her each and every day, to give back to the crew who accepted her despite the pain she had caused. It doesn't stop her heart from beating rapidly, though. She should feel calmer, after all Wamdus not only looks younger than her, but also lacks knowledge of skydweller games, a position Phoebe herself once had been in. By both standards she should be able to be something like...something like—!
…A b-big sister...maybe. (Even though Wamdus was the older one.)
"U-Um..." there was just a rather unfortunate problem with the situation.
Phoebe didn't know this one.
There was a faint memory of seeing some people with similar, small pieces, but at the time Phoebe and Morphe had been dragged off by Syr to play, and so there was no way for her to actually know. Yet... "I-I..." She really, really, really wanted to tell Ladiva and Morphe she had made a friend on her own today. Even if she didn't know the entire game, or even the name of it, or if it even was a game, she knew the start. Kind of. And perhaps, that'd do at the moment. "I think...you put them together to build a tower...like this..."
@shiningstages hello
She's staring—anxiously so—at the captain, as if building up the courage to ask a favor.
“ let’s go home. ” ( djeeta to phoebe! )

" P-please…! " she's clinging to her, have so for majority of the evening (and what a feat that was when the rest of the children had come looking for comfort too). Halloween was fun, she really did think so, because teasing Morphe was fun, and receiving candy was fun, and although it had taken a lot of courage to pull pranks on Seox and Jamil, that also was fun. It was just…even though she could weave dreams…and even though she could have changed forms to Oneiros…sometimes…Halloween was kind of scary…! There was so many kind of tricks, in so many different kinds of decorated areas, that some of them spooked her as well.
" C-captain…can we go to Raduga…? You and Ladiva are always so kind and warm, I don't want to be alone… " a soft plea while she grabs Djeeta's arm tighter, her greatest sense of safety, both now and ever.
Sooo, Phoebe is not Morphe and Morphe is Phoebe, but Phoebe is Phoebe and Morphe is Morphe? But... Yeah, he's confused. Meebee is Feefee, and Fork is not Spork...! Wait, no— Who? What? Oohhhh, he feels a self-inflicted headache coming on...! Time to lie down for an unspecified amount of time bit!
T H U M P !
Ah—?! Is he alright?? Does he need help?? Ladiva, where’s Ladiva...!!
Upon successfully completing another errand his captain tasked him with, the big botanical oaf slowly trundled his way over to his next destination with a soft, sleepy smile. Though he's always more than willing to help Gran with whatever — after all, how could he refuse them? — he didn't actually get to rest very well the previous night, and it was all thanks to that nightmare he had... So, before he arrives, he's just going to... take a quick nap— right here. Nobody would mind, right? He's pretty close to where he's supposed to be anyway, so if he ends up oversleeping, the people he's supposed be helping could just wake him up should they need and spot him!
...Or at least he thinks he's close... Regardless, even at the risk of being seen as a slacker, sleep keeps calling him. The longer he remained awake, the harder it became to refrain from answering the somniferous call. Mere moments later, a loud, barely-contained yawn escaped the teetering, drowsy flower's monstrous maw, announcing his inevitable loss against sleep before he finally lowered himself onto the ground, practically collapsing as he attempted to recover even the slightest bit of rest he'd lost. “ Mmh... ”
Staaaaare...
Firmly positioned further down the hallway, peeking around the corner to keep watch on him. She had seen him around the Captain before, and not once had she approached them, instead opting to hope Gran would come to the corner of the ship with Ladiva's bar...preferably at a time when she was still awake and helping out. This time he's alone, and Phoebe definitely wouldn't approach since not even Morphe was around to encourage her, but..
He was sleeping, wasn't he?
Any other time she would have sneaked by on her quest to retrieve whatever it was Ladiva needed, but this kind of situation...she couldn't just leave him there! The Captain always helped people regardless if they asked for it or not, including her, so attempting to pay back at least a little of that kindness was the least she could do! And, if he woke up later without no one noticing him, wasn't that lonely? Phoebe knew that feeling all too well, and as such there was no way she'd let him experience that. Besides...Christmas was coming up! What would Santa think of her!
Determined nod to nobody but herself and then she's off the other way, Ladiva would understand if she was a bit late, she was the nicest of them all. After a while she returns, hands full of material far bigger than her, making it troublesome to walk as carefully as she could toward him (if only she was as good as Jamil and Seox at not making any sounds...). Eventually she makes it over, (again) carefully unfolding the object and...putting the blanket over him. It probably wasn't the most comfortable place to sleep, but this way he wouldn't be cold!
" !! " …how cute it was! Pleased with the knowledge he wouldn't feel sad Phoebe clasps her hands together, and then returns to her original task, still careful not to wake him when leaving him. How she'd return the blanket to the lounge later she didn't know, but it'd work out. This was more important.
Oh, the other purple-haired primal around her height. Prunella had heard of her and her brother, but, with them being nocturnal things while she craved the sun, she had never truly seen them until now. Well, she had been meaning to introduce herself… “Excuse me,” is said in a loud voice but with excitement mixed with her usual monotone, determination reflected in emerald eyes, presenting both siblings with a couple chocolates, “Happy Valentine’s Day. Would you two like some chocolate?”
It always mingled in the air of the Grandcypher, nostalgic almost, the feeling of primal beasts. It's not like she had actively tried to avoid them prior to meeting the crew, simply overbearing loneliness and resentment keeping her from following their scents — they didn't look for her either. But, it wasn't like that anymore, no pain taking the form of angry words, instead kept apart by something everyone else described as shyness. Staying around her dear Captain resulted in seeing most people, even though Phoebe often faltered in front of strangers (what would they think? She had done something unforgiveable after all), so friends wasn't really something she used to have before starting to help Ladiva at Raduga (even if both Phoebe and Morphe rarely made it past midnight).
As such, there's a nervous beat in her heart when they're approached, and she's eternally grateful Morphe's there with her. How ironic that he's the one who always supports her. Because out of all things the other could have said, none of the siblings were expecting that.
" Ah— Um— " how awful, they hadn't prepared anything. Confused and struggling, they had already given chocolate to the people that had helped them, were they supposed to carry more around for everyone on the crew? But this was someone they've never spoken to, was she really talking to the right person? Or was there some kind of special primal beast rule she hadn't heard of, or...
" Waah—! Can we really have them ? Thank you ! " and so comes Morphe to the rescue, more than aware of his sister's predicament. " Guess we have to work even harder for White Day, right, sis ? " easily finding the solution that not only accepts the stranger's nice gift but also creating an opportunity for Phoebe to speak to her again in the future.
The realization is obvious on her face, before she, too, breaks out into a smile and repeats her brother's greeting, although with a light stammer still.
