"Hm?" He blinked and looked over at Aijiro. It was rare for him to ask for something like that. Normally Shiro was the one who was all touchy feely. Which meant, Shiro wouldn't let this opportunity pass him by.

"Sure thing." Shiro grins, tapping at his shoulder. "Rest up, or you can lay in my lap if you want." He offered before tapping his chin. Actually, he had a better idea! Without giving Aijiro much of a warning, he reached over to pick up the man and place him in his lap, holding onto him with a smile. "There you go! This is probably more comfortable, right?" Shiro guided Aijiro's head to lean against his shoulder.

"I'll make sure no one messes with you for awhile." He hummed softly, holding onto Aijiro loosely, so he could move around and get comfortable if he wanted.

“Don’t worry, Cammy,” Shiro said, pushing himself up. “I’ll tell them all to go away.” He headed to the door where a mess of people were waiting to vie for the Queen’s attention, and closed the door behind him. 

When he returned, everything was quiet and all the people were gone.

“There now, that wasn’t so hard. You’d think none of them had ever seen a katana before!” he joked. He came and flipped a chair backwards next to the sofa she was laying on and sat down on it, crossing his arms over the top.

“What’s tha matter, Cammy? Nightmares again?”

“Do -I- regret it?” he asked, an amused smirk playing over his features. “C’mon, now, how could I? Beautiful queen and her body guard carry on a secret affair, it’s torn right out of the pages of a novel, doncha think?” he joked, chuckling softly.

“Carrying on in secret ain’t exactly somethin’ that bothers me, but...I do sometimes wonder if it grates on you, Cammy. And ‘sides, I keep tellin ya ya outta find a younger man.” Though both of them knew HIS age was moot, since he was nebulously immortal.
