A girl squad movie night was well needed and well deserved. Hero training was getting a lot more rigorous and most of the times they came out of it unable to walk. That meant they needed something to help them relax. Shawna suggested a movie night, and that went over extremely well unlike some of her other ideas.
They were all scattered about the common area, some on the couch some on the floor. Gabbie lay on Lailani’s lap, her body still freezing from training frost on her cheeks and arms, which Lailani’s natural body heat was evaporating slowly.
“So, what the Hell are we watching?” Jodie grunted, sitting down in front of the couch with a bag of chips in her hands.
“Disney?” Aleshia suggested, looking around the room for an agreement from the girls. It seemed to be an agreement, so Aleshia skimmed through her Netflix for the perfect movie. Coco would get Gabbie too excited, Mary Poppins Returns was good, they were gonna say no to any Marvel movies because of the reason they were in here.
“Hercules?” Shawna suggested, pointing at the movie.
“Works for me,” Allie nodded. “You gonna belt out all the words, Gabbie?”
“Usually,” She nervously giggled. “But I’m really cold so I don’t think that’s going to happen.”
