“We can travel between the realms. I’m not exactly sure since as far as I know the King’s spouse has always been Asgardian or even Vanir, but not Midgardian. This will be a first for both of our realms.” Thor explains. “I am glad that you like me, too. I know that this is all so, so sudden and that I only have months to find a spouse. We can date first, though it would just be for those months before our marriage. I’m sorry for not saying anything about my feelings for you sooner. There has been so much going on with Asgard and here and I just wasn’t sure if you felt the same way.” Thor says, fidgeting with his hair more. A light drizzle and thundering begins outside as Thor’s anxiety increases. 

This was all still so surprising to him. He was not the kind to just hop up and get married to the first guy he saw. He had been waiting his whole life the the right partner but something about Thor just. Made his heart stop. In the best of ways. The blonde took a step forward reaching up to run a hand through his own hair as he thought it over. He liked Thor. He did. maybe he could give it a shot. “I think we should hold off on traveling just yet... Lets try out some dates.. If it goes well then maybe I can go with you to Asgard... That sound fair enough to you?”

And there came the Rain

Without really a home to go home to anymore Steve started to spend more and more time at the Avengers mansion. Having his own room on the top floor where Tony had made one for each of them in case they stayed. Most of them didn’t. They had lives but It was nice to see them when they came. Today seemed to be another boring day. he would spend time down in the gym and check the news for any new info. That however changed as Steve came up the stairs. Towel in hand as he dabbed the sweat from his forehead and nearly ran into the Tall God in front of him.

“Oh Sorry Thor. Didn’t see you come in. How was Asgard?”  He tossed the towel over his shoulder and took the last few steps to the top. Tilting his head slightly to look up at him. Steve was used to be shorter for people all his life though with the serum things had changed a bit. Usually towering over his friends. So this was a nice change. “You left in a hurry, Did something happen?”

One-Shot ; Bucky x Steve

"You can't just do stuff like that, you moron! You could've gotten yourself killed!"

"Well, I didn't, so can we please move on?"

Despite his size and his muscles, and the arm he can't ignore, Bucky doesn't look intimidating at all. His expression is stern, yes, but the pout on his lip is almost childish, if it weren't for the hard expression that's on the rest of his face and in his body language. He understands that James doesn't like him jumping out of airplanes, but for god's sake, it's quiet and he knows he can do it.

With a sigh, Steve settles down on the couch in the living room, watching the angry other pacing through the room while murmuring curses to himself.

"Stupid, Steve, it's stupid, you could've hurt yourself, or gotten killed, what if the water hadn't been deep enough..." he murmurs and shoots Steve angry glances, which the Captain is willing to receive. He takes up a towel and brushes it over the bleeding spot on his eyebrow, which casts Bucky's attention back onto him. He curses again and vanishes and for a moment, Steve thinks that he's going to have some silence for once.

"You're really stupid, you know." Bucky says and now it just sounds like he's stubborn as Steve can feel the couch sinking in a little to the right, a cold, metal hand touching his cheekbone, the other hand taking away his own to clean the wound and cool the swelling. It gives Steve the opportunity to look into Bucky's face so much more closely that he can see the worry hidden somewhere under the stern, seemingly angry expression.

Bucky's hand wanders up to brush Steve's hair away to get a better look at the wound, but by now, he's not even looking at it anymore, but looks back at Steve, their gazes locking. "You're a punk." Bucky says suddenly and draws a smile onto Steve's lips just like that, before he feels warm lips brushing against the skin of his forehead, and then Bucky's falling down next to him onto the couch, shoulders touching.

"Don't do something like that again." he says and tries to sound angry, but he's sounding more worried and so his voice tells Steve something entirely different.

"Steve I found these drawings of yours. . . how in the world did you get me to pose for these ones?" Natasha looked at Steve with an astonished look on her face.

"I... You were... Yeah, see it was. Can I just pass?" Steve stuttered, trying to figure out what to say to her. He reached for the drawings, trying to hide them away.

"Shit! Tony! Hold on, stay with me!" Steve rarely cursed, but now was the time for it. He pulled Tony up in his arms, holding him close. Steve pressed his lips to Tony's forehead, as if trying to blow life back into the broken man. "You can't leave me Tony! You can't! You promised...promised me..." Tears dripped softly down onto Tony's face. Steve cradled his head, keeping him close to his chest, wishing he could fight away the enemy between them, death.

------Steve was not use to this kind of thing, not at all. He was costumed to being the headman in a battle, not a bodyguard. He figured that if they had chose him of all people to watch and protect someone it was a very important person.

He pulled up in front of the address they had given him. The place was rather large, he figured who he was assigned to was some important and rich man.

He concealed his weapons and took a breath before leaving the safety of the armored car. Steve glanced around here and there as he made his way up to the door. There he straightened his suit and knocked, thoughts of his new client circling his head.
