Natasha paced the now barren gardens, her face sullen, and almost sad. It had been a long 6 months without her beloved, and now she was ready for his return. With a low sigh she trailed her fingers tenderly over one of the naked branches, hoping that any second it would burst into bloom, her heart only sinking with each moment she had to wait.

Eventually she made her way to Cerberus, a slight smile on her lips as she pet and loved the three headed hound. Gently she rubbed the creature chest when it let out a low whine. "I know, I know... I miss him too. He'll be back soon." I hope.

“Ow...” Tony grumbled, pushing himself up from the ground. He didn’t know what had hit him, but it had knocked him to the dirt like he weighed nothing. He tasted a bit of blood in his mouth and his body ached like a son of a bitch.

He knew something was wrong when he didn’t hear the telltale whirring of his armor moving with him. Did someone take it off him? Shit, that wasn’t good. Where was it now?

When he stood straight, he immediately wobbled and fell flat on his ass. His center of balance was way off. It was like everything around him was just a little bit shorter. What the hell had he gotten hit with?

“Avengers, report.” He called.

Bucky ran over to Steve and grabbed him by the shoulders. “I know HYDRA really did a number on my head, but your sister is trying to pull a fast one on me with my memories. She claims that we actually are already married and that it happened during the war.” 

Stacey calmly walked up behind Bucky, holding out a marriage certificate. “I showed him the certificate and he still doesn’t believe me,” she stated, giving Steve look telling him to go along with this.

It had been hard on her, a lycan out on her own like this. Lone lycans didn't last too long, few years at most, but she had been handling it. She had been out here since the start of the war. Since those....those humans came and slaughtered her pack when they refused to help them. She still remembered the day like it had just happened. She couldn't even close her eyes without being haunted by the cries of her family and friends. She and a few others had gotten away, but they had all ran in different directions, and she assumed they thought the same thing as she did. It was safer to be alone at a time like this. Less likely for them to be tracked.

An annoyed huff escaped her as she weaved through the trees of the forest she had made her home in. She was hunting, searching for a meal when the smell of blood wafted through the air. She lifted her head and sniffed a few times.

Human.

She let curiosity get the better of her and she stalked forward, following the scent. The sight was rather surprising to her. A young man, injured, blood coloring the snow around him. He was....alone? Why?

She inched closer, spotting a shield next to him, only bringing up more questions. She recognized the colors though. He was on the side of the good guys. He wasn't with those foul humans. Those wastes of space. She couldn't just leave him, right?

She sighed softly, padding over to him, nudging his cheek with her snout, trying to wake him.

It had been rather routine. She’d finished the latest tests on the monolith, nothing out of the ordinary, all of the readings were the same. Thats when she noticed someone had left a latch open. With an eye roll, she stepped up, intending to latch it back when suddenly the whole of the case seemed to explode with the monolith liquifying, surrounding her and then returning to its solid state....as if she hadn’t been there at all.

Years from now, a young British woman suddenly was spat out by a giant black stone in an abandoned base. Shaking, she had no idea where she was or what was going on. This was definitely not where she’d been ten seconds ago. She was in a state of shock as she heard voices coming from the hallway.

It was Christmas Eve. It had been snowing outside for hours, the flakes falling steadily and create a thick, white blanket on the ground. The road were covered with an inch of ice. All planes had been grounded. Most of everyone on campus had already left for the holidays. There was no way Steve would make it now. They would just have to celebrate when the storm passed. It would be after Christmas, but it would be just as well. 

Suddenly there was a knock at her door. Probably one of the other students looking for something. “Coming!” She calls out, getting up from her desk, moving to answer the door.

Perfect Soldiers And A Not So Perfect Zombie Apocalypse...

Tallahassee wasn’t one for complaining, but he was decidedly not a fan of the whole Zombie Apocalypse thing. Still, he made the best of it and dammit if he wasn’t the finest Zombie Killer for miles around. Sure, he could simply be efficient at the job but he liked to do it with style. After all, it’s go big or....well get killed by zombies he guessed. He liked to think that he was a kind of superhero like the Avengers, except he only looked after numero uno and his superpower was not giving a fuck.

That was until one fateful day when he happened to meet one of them. The super soldier himself. Sure the Captain was a pain in the ass at times and he was a stickler for the rules, but he was a hell of a fighter and although Tallahassee would never admit it...he didn’t actually mind having the guy around. As long as he didn’t have to hear one more lecture about him “not following the plan” that is, like he was a damn child or worse...an amateur.
