#432 "a mother knows these things" crane Growing up, Saturdays were 'bath days'. Three or even 4 of us in the tub, at a time, mum scrubbing and rinsing and soaping. Then drying and clothing. How did you do it? Where from did you get the motivation and the energy? Often, I find it difficult to even blink or to breathe. How did you feed us and how did you soothe so many scraped knees and elbows? How many pieces did your heart break into seeing us, one by one, leave the house in which you built a piece of heaven? I am still picking up shards of my heart after losing just one person... Are you even human? And if not, does that mean that I am not one either? Happy early mothers' day! I hope that we make you proud! (I gave an interview to the lovely Leyla @leylaltorres of OrigamiSpirit.com. Check out my facebook page, link in bio, for a link to the video) Song of the day: Bird by Billie Marten @billie_marten #origami #paperart #papercutting #senbazuru #tsuru #1000cranes #icarusmidair #mothersday #mother #memories #ombre #blue #turquoise by icarus.mid.air http://ift.tt/1StKLf4
