I literally watched the musical three times by now. These characters are so important to me. My favorite is Whizzer, he's so cool.

Ok but fr-

The way Shadow was portrayed in Sonic 3 was amazing like yeah it's mainly Shadow yearning for Maria, although it really just shows that while Shadow's immeasurably angry, he's also just immeasurably sad since Maria was essentially his sister. Then I saw Shadow Generations and honestly I do think Shadow would try to act as normal as possible, while also just having a complete internal emotional whirlwind. In the end it almost seemed like closure and of course I cried in the end.
