I had a packaging redesign project in my advanced illustration class, and was told I could do video game covers. I felt like Shadow needed his own cover with out the blue duo at his sides. … honestly I just wanted an excuse to use Shadow for an assignment -w-

So what did Shadow Generations look like from Metal Overlord's perspective?
I'm pretty sure the only time this could have reasonably happened was immediately after Metal Madness was defeated, but before Team Sonic went super. So it was just like ... Metal Madness gets KO'd, Metal transforms again, and then all of a sudden Shadow is coming out of nowhere riding a manta-ray made out of eldritch alien goop. And Metal Overlord just decided to be normal about that and just went after him.
... hang on, I've gotten distracted wondering when this happened from Mephiles's perspective. Like at what point was it possible for Mephiles to have been 1. in the Dusty Desert temple, 2. inside the Scepter of Darkness? Was this in the Iblis timeline or something!?

Damn, this part of the game, I mean, this animation, is great. You can see he is really smiling because they made the muscles under his eyes move!
Just compare with the litte smile he gave when Big appeared. Like he is saying: Oh, Big, he cute. Look at the diference on the eyes and muzzle's form.
Wait, why wasn't e-102 in generations? Real missed opportunity there imo.
