shit is never really decided in the show and i've never read the books so i'm just guessing they take it out at 18 and put another one in when they have a child so no more babies but yeah that's just me and my intense want for braven to have beautiful brown space babies

HEADCANON.   darcy says chica purely because of raven reyes.   if darcy’s in a situation where she’s trying to comfort somebody or instill them with confidence,   she’s probably going to use that word as a form of endearment.   reassurance and comfort is what she associates the word with because raven reyes is damn good at cheering her up.   she’s like a big sister to darcy,   is the person saying goodbye to will hurt the most when darcy inevitably leaves again,   and she admires her greatly.   darcy associates that word with good memories though,   and subconsciously if it makes her happy,   she thinks it’s bound to make others happy too.   it feels warm :)

lexa  slides  one  foot in front of the other, little shavings of snow curling up in her wake.  there’s a crisp, rosy  nip  in each of her cheeks  &  a playful unsteadiness that comes with the blades on the bottom of her shoes.  ❛            oh!  ❜  a grimace catches the corner of her mouth as her toepick snags on a divot in the ice.  she reaches out a gloved hand, fingertips catching on the edge of raven’s jacket before she tumbles, tugging them both to frozen surface of the pond.

i think since raven was 18 before she came down to earth that she got hers taken out on the ark like close to her birthday, but that’s just my personal headcanon
