I hardly take part in cotl anymore, but the one thing that keeps me involved in the fandom is that everybody who does artwork has made such diverse and amazing characters and lore for their own cotl experience.

From an outside perspective, someone could say they have a hard time telling lambs apart. But when I look through the artwork on here, not a single piece is the same. It's like a million handprints staining the cloth of the same doll.

I don't have more words to express the absolute adoration I have for all cotl artists out here.

I have a humble request as an aroace person

Can we have more stories and artwork where Vox evolves into less of an incel and becomes more aware and accepting of Alastor's (lack of) sexuality, rather than forcing Alastor to abandon a part of himself (usually against his will, from what I've seen in most fanfics)

And this doesn't mean the fic or art has to be platonic, you can have a happy relationship with a non-aroace person and still be aroace yourself (I am evidence of that)

I'm just so disturbed by the amount of content where Vox basically forces Alastor to be with him rather than them both growing as people and learning to understand each other better

SO ABOUT SONAR AND RABIES

This has been peeving me that none of you seemingly know anything about rabies.

YES bats can carry rabies and are the majority of carriers next to stray dogs, but if you are even slightly informed on rabies symptoms, you can spot an animal with rabies near IMMEDIATELY.

Bats with rabies fly irratically or cannot fly at all, they are more prone to approaching humans, and like most creatures with rabies, they become hydrophobic. There's even more than this but a huge thing is that ANY creature infected with rabies becomes aggressive, detached from reality, cannot think or communicate effectively or coherently, and most important of all THEY WILL DIE AND THE DETERIORATION IS NOT UNNOTICEABLE.

Sonar cannot have rabies given the timeline of the game, (ignoring any in-universe medical advancements we don't know about), so the most likely reason for his introduction mentioning rabies, is that bats are the major carriers and spreaders, and Sonar is potentially more susceptible.
