Hello and welcome to the Murder House, situated on an area of three acres, it is located in an isolated nook of the outskirts of the small town of Mystic Falls. A large house with over 15 rooms and two stories, it is surrounded on three sides by woodland, most of it the property of the Murder House and the easiest access is a small road off Main and Fifth street. Originally the location of a witch burning in the 1600s, built up and torn down only to be rebuilt again in the aftermath of the Civil War, and the site of multiple murders and the like, this estate has seen it's fair share of death and heartbreak over the years.
This verse takes place in 2015, three years after season four of The Vampire Diaries. Limit two characters per person and while we do understand the need to sometimes go on hiatus if a character is inactive for more then a week without telling us the character will be reopened.
In the wake of Silas' awakening and his search for the cure that had been stolen by Katherine Pierce, the veil between this realm and the Other Side was torn after he convinced Bonnie to compete an Expression triangle. Murder House, an already supernaturally charged location, found itself directly in the center of this Expression triangle, it's past inhabitants reawakened and a few others, town residents whom had been murdered, joining them, trapped for all eternity on this property.
The house recently placed up 'for sale' after the death of it's previous own Meredith Fell, it's inhabitants the murdered and the murderers, some in denial and thinking themselves still alive and others fully aware of their present state of undeath, what will happen next is yet unknown.
A few notable occurrences:
Location of a massive witch burning in 1685.
Family of five found drained of blood and heads severed in 1865.
Wife of estate owner discovered dead, an apparent suicide after the death of her still-born child in 1905, she is buried on the property in the family crypt with the rest of her family.
New owner committed to a mental institution in 1935.
Two found dead, victims of a local serial killer in 1979.
Meredith Fell, found dead in 2015, apparent suicide.
