Random SFOTH headcanons bc I need to write them down before I forget
Block Tales
The swords have a minor consciousness while in sword form (phrased like that bc FireBrand). They can't has sophisticated thoughts or emotions, but can form attachments.
Usually the swords get attached to swordwielders who they corrupt (with the exception of the Ghostwalker, it doesn't like being wielded).
Player hasn't gotten a strong attachment from any sword because the corruption they get is caught in a four way tie. Most swords still like them though.
The Ghostwalker is unwillfully empathic, everything about a soul within proximity of it gets projected to it automatically. It doesn't like this very much, so it causes egodeath (or just straight up death) to whoever touches it.
At one point of time the Firebrand and the ancient were seperate beings, this was long ago.
The Icedagger's ice is naturally spiky and sharp. This is why the Cruel King's Throne has reverse icicles (icespires?)
Phighting
Icedagger's ice naturally forms in clusters, but he can easily change the way it forms without much effort.
Icedagger's ice has the tendency to break apart living things inside, this process is extremely slow unless he wills it to go faster.
Icedagger disappears sometimes for a couple centuries at a time. During these times he's frozen in a massive block of his ice.
Icedagger has multiple scars across his body from his ice breaking his body slowly apart during those times.
