Stories, huh? Ooh, I got somethin reallllll fluffy that I haven't told ya yet (I don't think, at least). A few weeks ago, I was at work with Nick at Costco. On a whim, he decided to show me a pretty ring at the jewelry counter--it's a white gold thing with four diamonds in the shape of a flower. He knows I like unique things, so he asked if I'd like something LIKE that, and I told him, "No, because I really like THAT one." Every day I'm at Costco, I check to see if it's still there. Heheh. :3

Their relationship is built on the same mutual trust and respect that Olivier shows to all of her men. The idea that she is the first Amestrian to look at him with something other than, as he said, guilt and pity, is a really big step.
She sees him as her equal in a way that isn't colorblind. She acknowledges the possible discord that could occur when his race is brought up, and instead of avoiding it, she uses it to her advantage and accepts it.
He has a deep understanding of how her (very complex) mind works, which is a feat that very few can accomplish, and it proves that she can trust him enough to open up to him (at least as much as she's capable).
