He was naked, so he rushed to put his clothes on.

~- Sighs in embarrassed exasperation as Gray runs off.

“I know I’ve grown up with hat view but.. seriously.. Gray needs to sew those clothes onto him or something!”

Just Another Day Away From Fairy Tail

After the amazing week he had with Gray, Natsu wanted a way to make it up to the ice make wizard without anyone else noticing. However, in order to plan it out....he had to talk to the one person he trusted more than anyone....Lucy. 

She helped him plan out the entire night, promising that she wouldnt tell anyone so long as he did something for her in return later. 

Cleaning up his house, he sent Happy to go stay with Lucy for the night before finding Gray and wrapping his arms around the other before pulling Gray to his chest.

“Yo dumb ass, come with me” He grinned, whispering into the others ear before nipping one of the old bites he had given the ice mage.
