I had a strong relationship with ice packs while growing up, perhaps because of the numerous mishaps during playing. In school, I had this notion, that the nurse-in-charge, worked in an ice pack manufacturing factory, because according to her that was the solution to everything. Bruised knee? Ice pack. The gash in the elbow? Ice. Fever and headache? Ice. Vomited thrice? Ice. The last one was purposefully made to rhyme. I understand ice packs are one of the great inventions but the nurses took it to the next level. I understand there are multiple uses to it like keeping meat and beers cool, relieving the bruise after the fight, preventing bacterial growth, etc. However, I still had questions in my mind. So, I dived deep into the internet to come up with this article that talks about ice pack ingredients use and more.
