"In every universe, in any time line. Did we ever have a good enough relationship with our father?"
❝ No. ❞ He answered truthfully, bitterness evident in his voice. The word was spoken so quietly, he was unsure if the other had even heard it. Were it anybody else and not his counterpart from a different timeline, he would have attempted to hide the pained expression that briefly flashed across his face at the memory of his father, of the suffering he had endured at the previous grandmaster's hands. He had met many alternate versions of himself by now and it seemed to be a constant throughout every timeline that no matter his efforts, his father would never treat him like a son.
❝ I do not know of every timeline in existence, but it seems our fate is always to remain the same. We did right to let the old bastard die. ❞ His brothers would never understand that, they knew nothing. Even though, Bi-Han did not once regret his decision, his father's death did not bring him peace. He was still haunted, his soul poisoned by a hatred so deep it had killed everything good inside him.
