All the TP's you have? Otp, brotp, foetp, and what else you think of :]
I’m not sure which fandom you’d like XD bc if I listed EVERY Otp I have, we’d be here for a while. I’ll go with Inuyasha:
Otp: Sesskag. Love them, love the potential, love that they come from different backgrounds, have clashing morals, personalities and such, but their priorities of protecting their group often align and therefore a tiny bit of common ground can be uneathered. All they need is a conversation in the right fic authors hands and the intrigue and tension of two powerful opposing energies leaps off the page- er- screen. Love it.
Brotp: I like Miroku and Inuyasha’s dynamic along with Sango and Kagome, but they’re obvious choices. For other bros I’d say I like the potential of Shippo and Rin being bros judging adults together, I love that dynamic in fics. I also like Inuyasha’s relationship with Sango or Kirara, there’s something very natural there.
Foetp: Naraku and Kikyo make for a cool foetp, though again in fics, I kind of like Naraku vs Kagome. I always found it a shame they didn’t interact more. Kagome didn’t really have a villain of her own to overcome, she just had to get past her complicated feelings regarding the love triangle and that’s a shame. Naraku and Kagome are alike in a lot of ways- everyone always thinks of them as Onigumo and Kikyo. They’re not ‘the originals.’ They have insecurities or ‘weaknesses’ that they shed in different ways- Naraku literally cutting them out of him, while Kagome shoves them down in service of helping people. Naraku was also shit scared of Kagome. Like, imagine him trying to tempt her into despair. He must’ve seen her struggling over the Inuyasha/Kikyo thing. Missed opportunity from Rumiko there imo, bc without Kagome having much of a relationship with Naraku, her final words to him fall a little flat. They have no spicy hero vs villain dynamic, and its wasted potential. But thats what fics are for XD
