I was tagged by @crimsonphantasmagoria to do this aesthetics template for my Ocs!

I decided to do both Ithena and Sao! but i'll put them on different posts.

First, Ithena!

Flower: Red Chrysanthemuns

representing deep love, admiration and passion, it represents her passionate spirit pretty well. Chrysanthemuns are also often associated with remembrance.

Weather: Light Rain

The sorrow that still waters the land, promising for a new tomorrow.

Colour: Deep Red

the color of passion, or even a bright colored fruit tempting you to eat it :).

Food: Cherry

A simple fruit, close to nature as she is, a promise of a summer day

Beverage: Red Wine

Intoxicating and rich in flavor.

Object: Book

She seeks knowledge and learning of history.

Place: The Emerald Graves

Mournfull, full of history, the proof they once stood there, the proof they fought for it.

Animal: White Wolf

A pack animal yet doomed to be a lone wolf. They mate for life.

trying to replay DAI aka "mod troubleshooting" and i updated one of the old mods i had but the newest version of the mod breaks my hair mod's texture. I've been at it for two hours.

That thought about one romance not requiring your character to be Inquisitor to work gives me an idea

Let's make another AU for Solas and Ithena!

The thing is that i love the aspect of, two people who were forced into divinity against their will, trying so hard to use it to do good things, but with the odds and their enemies twisting them into figures you have to fear, and perhaps they're right, and the whole world see them as Gods, except each others who see who they were past the magic, past the legends, who see each other for what they once were before the divinity and responsibility ate them away, two people who allow each other to regain their true selves....

That i don't know how to make it work if Ithena isn't Inquisitor.

Like could she walk up to Solas and eventually charm him, probably but the Themes would be gone. There would be a lack of pure understanding, and of how they're saving each other from the burden of Divinity.

So while i defintely thought of AUS where like, they met before, or she impressed him in other ways....

It feels more difficult to work on, if that makes sense, or it will always be AUs where something crucial is missing.

I thought about it a lot.

Have you done other romances in Inquisition or are you and Solas exclusive?

sweats.

Controversially i romanced Cullen too. (*basks in people booing me* yes i did! yes i did!)

honestly his romance just really did a number on me 7 years ago when i played it then because i was really into another mindset and his arc about healing was genuinely helpful to me at that point. I replayed his romance last summer though and i admit it doesn't get my heart racing anymore as much as i used to... I suppose in a way i outgrew it, in a way bringing me closer to Solas than i was back then. Still i really like this romance path.

Other than that I tried a playthrough where i was planning on romancing Dorian, but before even meeting him i started missing making out with Solas that i just re-did Ithena instead and gave up.

so those have been my only two DAI romances. Cullen and Solas. Add to that that i romanced both Anders and Fenris, A moment of silence for the minefield of discourses i've been walking on the moment i started seeking out the fandom.

Trickster book talks about an aspect of Tricksters is, in their myth, using Hermes' myth as an example, preparing something they want with care, and then at the last minute sacrificing it away because they don't deserve it now, not until their goal is accomplished.

..... So like, that's the Crestwood scene.

i feel like reading a textbook of why every scenes with Solas happened when i read this book.
