how many times do you think she ever had to apologize about his behavior
rewatching the part that explain what the cube is and how the innocence works and what they believe around it now that we have the last chapter in mind is just.. *weeps softly*
im trying to do something and i wanted to put some background stuff and i thought hey why not put the dgm anime in the background, anyway i started crying hearing 2 notes of Innocent Sorrow so i’m starting out well
I would die for the four of them
where to even begin
oh Kanda. Never change.
I’m stopping here bc it’s 11pm and i should go to sleep soon once i ate but-
so my opinion of the dgm06 anime is... mixed. I prefer it to Hallow in general but i cannot help but compare to the manga and i’m not really one to lean into the fillers very easily (my bad my bad and all)
anyway so it’s been years since i actually sat down and watched the begining of the anime (i generally ended up watching random extracts or episodes rather than watch it straight) and
so
basically they moved the Mana’s flashback to after Allen arriving to the congregation??
ep 1 is chapter 1, ep 2 is chapter 4 and 5. The Preview for the next ep promise an adaptation of the Mattell arc.
And i’m just..... okay i guess that’s a Choice. Probably bc DGM’s prologue is quite long in a way and an anime would want to kickstart the story more. And ultimately since it’s flashbacks it doesn’t /hurt/ to move them as long as they’re included, instead it leaves mystery when Allen swears to Mana that he’ll keep walking at the end of ep2.
but. Yeah.
*sighs* *mumbles* i need to get back to my reread shouldn’t i

Me who at the time she watched this episode thought that Three Days of Darkness were Biblical Flood: SHIT.
DLFJDLF don’t worry, it was the normal assumption - when Komui brings up the Three Days of Darkness it’s immediatly followed by “it’s what the Bible recorded as the Flood”, and between the ark and Noah we had all the reasons to never question it.
until last chapter.
That’s. always fun to have the fundations of a story standing for 15 years suddenly telling us “actually that was wrong”, it’s fine. it’s fine.

"I'm still a human" a very bold take considering about what we know so far huh
right?
honestly both part are hilarious “i’m a little cursed” a LITTLE??? “but i’m still a human” oh sweetie. Allen. Sweetheart. My sweet summer child.
