great thanks! now time to wonder about the tolerance of all my favorite primals. so sandalphons is pretty low,,, gabriel and rosetta are up there,,,, good to know, good to know,,,, mhm,,,,

oh hell yeah.

So we have a pretty good scale already with that.

Sandalphon is probably a sick drunk all the way, with his temper getting worse probably while drunk. Very angry boy.

Gabriel and Rosetta meanwhile probably are barely affected by alcohol and can drink for a long time, at worst they can be even more teasing than they were already but that's old news, and the next morning she'll be fine.

and now that we have this scale we can see the rest.

and here's my HCs if you want them

Belial for instance probably has a high tolerance and doesn't get drunk easily, if he does, he probably gets more horny (we can hope for him being more angsty, but, if only.). I'd imagine him not having any hangover the next day. But imagining him with one is really funny so i'm torn on what to think.

Lucifer meanwhile probably has a low tolerance. Gets flustered, gets absolutely no filter, he tells everything he has in his mind, the problem is that it's mostly about how he cares about people around him so he's embarassing as hell. Would probably hug Sandalphon while drunk. The next morning he would have just completely forgotten the previous night.

in the other four primarches, i'd say Uriel is a heartly drunk, always laughing, always loud. probably not sick the next day, but he has the best post-hangover remedies. Raphael probably has high tolerance and is rather quiet.

Michael's tolerance is a bit in the middle, she can drink quite a bit before she ends up acting drunk. Once drunk she probably gets overly passionate about something again. Would boss everyone around her to act out some play with her, completely drunken, because the skies are a stage and they need to act NOW. She'd be miserable the next morning.

Sariel.... I don't see him drink a lot. Would imagine him be a sleepy drunk, easily just nodding off. The next morning he feels a little sick but nothing too bad.

Hal&Mal become insanely more flirty when drunk, and probably are constantly trying to set you up in relationship with someone. They're alright the next morning tho.

Azazel would be even stupider than ever which is honestly truly impressive. He'd totally get into fights. He'd remember none of it the next day but wonder why he's sick.

Metattron doesn't get drunk. He's constantly trying to watch over everyone to make sure nothing bad happens. So he never allow himself to get drunk. Not sure for his tolerance.

Grimnir gets drunk easily and is just Grimnir x10000000. Louder than ever. Type to climb on tables to do his monologues. Absolutely pitiful the next day though, whining the whole time about how sick he feels.

Shiva probably doesn't get drunk, or if he does he probably is similar to Lucifer in term of his appreciation of the world. Next morning he's a champ, no forgetting, no nothing, just a normal day for him.

Europa gets tipsy and flirty when drunk. More flustered than ever, probably in need of supervision so she doesn't kiss someone on accident. Probably kissed Alexiel at some point because of that. Gabriel has to take care of her most of the time to get her girlfriend back. If she remembers the next morning she acts like she doesn't.

Alexiel would be loud and start bar brawl. Her honorable front falling for the thrill of a good fight. Probably highly more likely to be embarassed and act out on her embarassment with violence. She has a horrible hangover the next morning and threatens anyone who wants to bring it up.

Zooey and Geo would both be easily drunk, and likely to get into fight with people. Zooey about balance, Geo about primal rights. Zooey probably has to be the one to wrestle with Geo. Zooey doesn't really remember much the next morning but Geo does and is fuming. (Yuni looks like a child so no bar would give her any alcohol, and Zooey and Cosmos probably wouldn't allow it anyway. She drinks fruit juice).

Cosmos would probably just be rather calm, i don't see her getting drunk easily, always trying to be in control of herself. Not to passionate, not anything. She'd have a headache the next morning though.

Noa has high tolerance, and no hangover. He's with Rosetta and Gabriel in the teasing gang though.

Medusa gets drunk easily and is unbearable. Constantly starting fight, constantly yelling at people, barely held together by Satyr trying to calm her down. Miserable the next morning but she remembers everything and is extremely embarassed by her behavior.

Satyr is a happy drunk. She giggles she tells jokes, she tries to have everyone be friendly, she tries to befriend the whole bar. She's alright the next morning.

Nezah is a gamble. He'll either be calm and normal as if nothing happened, but, if anything ends up titillating his bloodthirsty side he WILL start a bar brawl and you will be unable to stop him else he'll start hitting you. Doesn't remember anything the next morning, but is okay.

Baal is probably the assigned Sober Primal Pal because everyone would cause a mess otherwise. I can't really imagine him drunk, but he'd probably be even more curt and sarcastic, and probably would be insulting people on accident. But he's overall okay. Probably sleepy the next day though because of the energy to keep everything in control.

Freyr is a sad drunk who just ends up thinking more about how much his life sucks when he's drunk. He's just as miserable the next morning.

Athena would probably try not to drunk much in order to stay always on the ready, but i'd imagine her getting tipsy if she drinks a little too much. Enyo probably tries to get her to drink specifically to see her loosen her walls for a bit and maybe eventually take advantage of it. Athena remembers the next morning and is mortified even though she didn't do anything bad the previous day, just because she lost control a bit.

Enyo has a moderate tolerance but would be inclined to do even more murder if you let her. Probably would try to provoke Athena and/or make out with her. She'd be okay the next morning.

Lich wonders why you even invited her and drunks her anxiety away about being around multiple people. Her anxiety doesn't go away with drinking and eventually you hear her shrinks in horror because too many people are around her. The next morning she has the worst of headache and refuses to see anyone.

Poseidon has a high tolerance and probably encourages other people to drunk only to judge them all evening. Might flirt with Lowain if he's around. He's okay the next morning but he is going to remind everyone who was drinking with him of how pitiful they were and WILL judge you.

I can't imagine Sylph drink, so i'll put her on sleepy drunk if she ends up doing so.

Vira is in the primal beast list so i'll do her too, but she'd have low tolerance and would ramble so much about how much she loves Katalina and be even more clingy. Lowain would say she's just like usual. but Vira is also much more likely to draw her blade against him while Drunk. But Lowain would still say "yeah like usual". she'd be miserable the next morning though.

Then all that's left is like, the starting primals (Tiamat, Yggy ect) but i don't really have much idea for that. Tiamat might end up be more easily angry, Yggy more easily sleepy, but that's about as far as i can go.

I have the tier list of primal character opened to answer this ask, if i didn't include someone from this list in this post it's because i'm either uninspired or don't know them enough.

Because the Granblue people are fine with giving us playable Lobelia (which nobody asked for) but not Belial (which everyone is asking for, especially me) (COWARDS), I just have to imagine what his holiday lines would be. What horrible totally-safe-for-work things do you think he would tell the captain on Christmas?

LITERALLY. LITERALLY. We have the choice between two garbage men and we get to get the only one who wears clothes. I think it's really mean and - wait why are you focusing on what i used as a reference point, this is not the point, also i'm right, so,

I definitely think Belial would try to give "gifts" while MC is extremely wary of every single one of them. With Belial laughing, y'know, his mocking laugh, about how there's no need to worry, he wouldn't hurt his preeecious Singularity like that <3 (bonus point if his lines culminate just as much as the Seraphic quests, with the first year seeming like an innocent gift, and each year it gets slightly more fucked up until you wonder if he tried to corrupt MC, AGAIN)

Anyway, i totally think he would also offer up Captain to "warm up" with him. Oh, silly us, he meant by the fireplace of course! that said if we want him to warm our bed of course he'd be happy to oblige... "ahah just kidding", you know the type.

how about looking at a pine tree and mentioning he tried to help with it but "your crew didn't see too kindly at me erecting the pine. :)." and "what do you think Singularity, would you like me to put you on top of my erected pine? [very long pause] i set up a tree in my room i mean, of course :)"

Eventually there would be a wholesome line near the end, completely overshadowed by him saying something fucked up. There'd probably be lines about how he wishes Lucilius was here to look at the lights too.

He'd probably offer a gift down the line. Probably make some winky wink comments at what's in the box.

Listen. I'll be honest. I've written this whole ask while stalling the fact this was the only thing in my mind: let's be real if granblue wasn't still censoring him this is what we would get:

... Maybe that's why Belial is not playable while Lobelia is. They can see this vision just like me and know it would be out of character to stop Belial from doing just that. And the censors would not look kindly to it, but somehow, "serial killer offering the sounds of people he tortured because he thinks it's a delightful gift" is passing through them.

Important GBF AU where Lucifer manages to come back to life, (doesn't matter how), joins crew, he and Sandy confess, all is well, and then he meets Yuni. They talk about Cosmos, he very clearly feels bad that he couldn't be there for his friend, despite his promise and then he decides to adopt Yuni. Sandy isn't too thrilled, because he was looking forward to the honeymoon phase with his boyfriend, but he warms up to his new daughter. Also Zooey is like that adult stepchild who drops by sometimes

I can totally imagine Lucifer doing so though, no way he would see the remaining of Cosmos and not think he has a duty to be there for her. The same way he's aware Cosmos influenced him into eventually living for himself and eventually accept that he only wanted to be with Sandalphon, this will be the ultimate proof also of how he influenced Cosmos as well.

Tragically, while Lucifer realized he could live for himself, Cosmos felt like she couldn't live at all. So i think even more so Lucifer would do anything for the people she has left behind: Yuni and Zooey in particular.

+ i mean after he saw how Sandalphon lost his mind as being Lucifer's copy without any purpose, the fact Yuni and Zooey are left without Cosmos would probably have him extra protective in the sense of, he can't let them feel neglected the way Sandalphon was. Sandy is slightly frustrated at first but Lucifer is constantly trying to include him in the process to not neglect him in that same process so Sandalphon recluently but also happily joins in.

Lucifer would be extremely protective of Yuni and would regularly take care of her at random, having conversation with her and stuff. I could totally picture him having some convos in a garden with her, though he'd insist that even if Yuni doesn't work by human law, a child's body probably shouldn't be taking caffeine. Sandalphon has to help out and mentions he already found alternative for the youngster on the ship, so they share moments together like this.

with Zooey, it depends on when Zooey drops by, and especially since she seems to stick more with Danchou because she has made peace with what happened to Cosmos and now want to live for herself a bit, which Lucifer is very proud of and would encourage completely.

The elephant in the room though is that originally Yuni and Zooey won't mention him. They won't say anything at first because it's a family issue.

..... But Lucifer will have to learn about Geo eventually.

And all of the things he feared about leaving Cosmos's folks to themselves would be confirmed for him: not for the reason he expected, but he sees Geo's rampage and how he manifests the darker side of Cosmos, and he would try to do anything to fix it.

because he couldn't be there for Sandalphon when Sandalphon went through it, and he couldn't be here for Cosmos when her dilema tore her apart. So now at least he has to try to be here for Geo when he's a mix of those two things Lucifer would feel so guilty about.

Esp if you add up how Geo and Belial's mentality regarding the primals kind of align: with the difference that Belial is resigned and cynical, and Geo wants to do something about it no matter how drastically he has to do it. Both are frustrated with how primals were created as tools limited by their purpose, constantly shunned by their powers, and if they are lucky enough to make friends, their immortality will force them to lose them eventually.

Lucifer spent his time with Cosmos trying to help primals in this situation, unaware of how it broke Belial then right. If we assume someone kept him in the known about what Belial shared about it though, he would definitely connect the dots.

And therefore he would want to find Geo and help him, no matter what. For Cosmos's dilema he knows he's the one who provoked it. For Sandalphon's sake, whom he had failed before and can see the same rage into. For Belial's sake, whom he didn't see the suffering of and now can have someone to help on the same suffering.

Basically a full arc of Geo trying to mind his own business rallying primals to rebel against humanity while Lucifer is constantly crashing by with a begrudgingly tagging along Sandalphon, an enthusiastic Zooey, and a blunt Yuni, constantly trying to bait him into getting a redemption arc by forcefully adopting him into this family born out of #RespectCosmos

Geo has known no rest. Save him. Or not.

Danchou and (idk) Reader-kun/RK (Also sorry if I see it on your blog I immediately wonder about GBF)

9th boss is Yurius, purely because "Oh he looks normal- oh shit" the tentacles come out.

Just a funny AU, the exes aren't jealous just protective of their captain friend

my primal exes this is so much. All of them fits so much (my bet on Sandalphon on the third boss).

Danchou def has been 15 for ten years so yeah it works

and for Yurius this is genius, since on top of that it's like the "normal looking one" is an extension of the tentacles monsters, it fits so perfectly.

And yeah, not jealous, just protective and trying to make sure the new guy is worth it. Like "if you can't defeat us how can you expect to defeat whatever bullshit life is going to throw at our precious Danchou next".

AU where the WMTSB bad guys are just cats. They're very cat-like anyway. Belial cat who wants constant attention and will bite if you don't give pets, Beelzebub cat who kinda wants attention but only on his terms and will scratch you to pieces if you don't worship him the right way. Lucilius cat who will destroy everything you own if you look at him funny (but always manages to fall asleep on top of your laptop when you have work to do)

OMG YEAH I LOVE tHAT.

We discussed with a friend once about a modern au where Lucilius was Lucifer's and Belial's old childhood cat (in this au they were twins) and the cat would be a grumpy fucker, not let you touch him, ect... EXCEPT with Lucifer where once in a while, he comes and rubs himself on his legs or will accept a few pats but ONLY if they're alone. Meanwhile Belial would get all of the scratch treatment, with the cat constantly growling everytime Belial is trying to pet him. So the Belial and Lucifer rivalry about Lucilius gets completely projected onto the cat. (in addition once Sandalphon meets the cat he ends up showing disinterest or the same amount of violence, having Belial and Sandalphon something to bond over, except Belial loves this cat and Sandalphon finds him a menace.)

So, for Lucilius, i have many thoughts, for the rest, this is the first time i get to think about it and i LOVE it.

Belial would definitely be the most noisy and the most touchy of cats. He'd constantly runs into your legs while you walk, as if to give you a leg rub, even if doing so makes you lose your balance and almost trip. He'll be the kind of cats who see you do something delicate like, cooking, and suddenly jump from the floor to your shoulder to watch what you're doing, planting his claws into your shirt no matter how deep he does it, just to watch. Just, the overly affectionate cat who results in putting you into painful scenario because he doesn't have an off button. And out of all of them, he would purr the loudest.

For Beelzebub, i can totally imagine that. I feel like Beelzebub would do this type of things as like. If you don't pay attention when he wants you to, he will push the glass you put on the table to the edge, looking right into your eyes. The type of cats who behaves like letting you pet them is a priviliege and you should be happy about that.

i had a cat who did just that so i imagine: coming at you and biting your hand until you pat his head. if you remove your hand before he's done, he'd bite you again to have you pat his head again. And once he's tired, he'll bite you again to tell you to fuck off.

and for Lucilius, definitely agreed. I could see him always be in the way, always sleeping on something important, and being super indignant if you dare to move him. He isn't the cuddly type and only show affection to a selected few (basically, if Lucifer is around).

And if all three cats live together, oh boy the chaos. Lucilius would constantly try to climb the highest he possibly can despite it being Beelzebub's OWN SPOT (i can imagine they're both like that, always finding the highest spot they can lay on to judge you), mostly to escape Belial. When Belial isn't bothering his Human, he's always trying to get Lucilius's attention no matter how much Lucilius tell him to paw off. Beelzebub is constantly trying to leave the room when those two are in, otherwise, you often see him hang out with Lucilius, not far from one another, or growling at Belial for being too close.

This is adorable. The most deadly people in the universe would make for beautiful cats.

What type of video game would Lucilius be most likely to play?

what an INCREDIBLE ask. I'm amazed.

Anyway i have two, drastically different answers about it.

On one hand, i'd see him play those dark, take down game like Dark Soul and currently the hype of Elden Ring. Dark like his mind, hard like his hardship, but meaning he has to use his cunning to take down everything on his path. He'd ascent Godhood by destroying everything on his path.

He doesn't do storycentric games like RPG if he can avoid it. He has no care for those fictional people. He just wants to get the upper hand and dominate the game. I'd also see him not want to play multiplayer games bc he's that associal and would only do it if he can crush everyone in a very short time.

On the other hand: i could also see him get into the full madness of playing games like Sim City. Perhaps the Sims too but that's not enough control, he wants to play God. Spores would also be a good game for him. Any Simulator type of game that allows him to completely reshape the world and destroy it if he wants to. The games that allow you to be a god. Truly i think Sim City would be the best one, he'd develop a society and once he's bored he'll trigger cataclysms over cataclysms to make everyone suffer in there.

There's nothing but the whim of a God for him. Those are the two games you see him play, sometimes at once, running Dark Souls super seriously on one computer while the Sim City game is rolling on another one, at normal speed, and he only inputs some infos once in a while.

this is what Godhood is like for him; Destroying all his enemies. Reshaping the world at his image. Nothing standing in his way.

people would seriously post on a forum "whether you think Lucifer, Lucilius and Lucio are different people, or one and the same, we can all agree that the Luci is a Luci-whore."

Alternatively people who follow all three channel and get very deep into the lore will call themselves the Luci-whores.

Both work. Both make Sandalphon scream. Makes it perfect.

Lucifer and Belial are twins meets Lucifer, Lucio, and Lucilius as triplets, go!

OH MY GOD.

I don't know how i can even try to work it out...!

Lucifer and Belial as twins is my fav HC/AU because of the whole dynamic they already have, the fact that Belial has such an inferiority complex turned into pure hostility toward Lucifer while Lucifer only cares for him. I have spent countless of time thinking about what it would bring them like this one post i made about Resurected!Lucifer and Crewmember!Belial, which probably already highlight how much i love this HC.

I also love it in pure AUs type where we can't exactly work into the whole fact that since they're primals the way we work on their family bond is up to us, which i just find really funny.

And on top of that this is also a way to manage to work out Belial's feelings for Lucilius into the plot without making it weird(er than it already is) (disclaimer tho: especially in pure AUs that are totally disconnected to GBF, my opinion is that Lucilius is more a backstory to Belial than a love interest. My end game for Belial is to push him into Sariel's arms. In this sort of specific AUs it is meant for Belial to grow past his affliction for Lucilius as i don't want them to be endgame, but this is an "obligated path" for Belial to take if we want to keep Belial close to his canon self.) (that being said i think it's important to note that in a modern AU we discussed a lot with @nadejdaro but never did anything with, we made Lucilius Belial&Lucifer (they were twins/roommates) 's angry cat who would lacerate Sandalphon's hand everytime he sees him, and Belial being jealous that Lucifer is getting all of the cat's love and attention. We are serious AU worldbuilder.)

Meanwhile most of my interest in the Triplet Luci AU is based on the way Bahamut treats them, so it's just the funny way God Himself made Lucifer his favorite.

But i do love the idea of the triplets as in i think Lucio would be the most insufferable big brother he would be, Lucilius is in constant family rebellion but affectionate toward Lucifer, while Lucifer is completely oblivious to the strife in the family and just want everyone to get along.

But i don't nearly have this much in mind to say because the fact we never saw Lucio and Lucifer interreact haunts my dreams. But i think it's also funny because it means Lucio would be hitting on Sandalphon for Lucifer but in a complete different way as i imagine Belial doing it, so there's that.

BUT THEN TO GET BACK TO YOUR ASK... trying to mashes in both idea is a disaster in the making. of course, granblue's canon allow the whole idea but my god.

For starter it means even more people abandonning Lucifer and it's a bummer. Then, it's taken into consideration that it adds more people for Belial to be in competition with. And that involving the Lucilius thing only work as long as we remain into canon's bond and nowhere else.

But i mean man Belial is already having an inferiority complex out of Lucifer being the Golden Child, what if he has to think about how what's facing in this scenario is The Right Hand of God and The Man Who Would Be God. AND learning that still Lucifer is the most loved of them all while Belial is supposed to be on more equal ground with him knowing he'll never get this kind of love. Madness in the making.

It could however add a whole dynamic to Belial and Lucio of both being insufferable teases while also knowing that Lucio has shown a lot of distaste for Belial (he hates snakes, i rest my case). Lucio having a fake smile around Belial before being mean to him and Belial having a wicked smile because he can be worse if he wanted to, only to have Lucifer trying to stop them to kill each other (while Lucilius is just "no please let them").

SO YEAH the ask is all over the place but yeah. Even if i love the idea of the Luci-triplets especially as the event makes the whole Baha thing hilarious, i'm too far gone in the Lucifer&Belial twin HC hole to manage to get out of it and put all of those ideas back together, and i ended up rambling.

But man. I love this cast yaknow? there'd be a sitcom about the wmtsb angel trying to live as roommates in the same flat and i'd watch the hell out of it. Have them keep their powers for spice and see how long it takes for Sandalphon to blow up the building. I need it so bad.
